## What is TradeDocket?

TradeDocket helps UK tradespeople manage business receipts and expenses with ease. Snap a photo of any receipt and let the app do the rest — extracting merchant details, amounts, VAT, and line items automatically.

BUILT FOR THE TRADES
Whether you're a plumber, electrician, builder, or any self-employed contractor, TradeDocket understands your world. Receipts from Screwfix, Toolstation, Travis Perkins, and hundreds of other suppliers are recognised and categorised instantly.

SMART CATEGORISATION
Every line item is sorted into HMRC-aligned expense categories — materials, tools, fixings, safety equipment, vehicle costs, and more. No accountancy jargon, just clear labels that match your work.

KEY FEATURES
• Scan receipts with your camera — amounts, VAT, and merchant extracted in seconds
• Automatic HMRC expense categorisation (materials, tools, PPE, vehicle, etc.)
• Dashboard with spending charts and VAT summary by tax year
• Organise receipts by project or job for accurate job costing
• Export to CSV for your accountant or self-assessment filing
• Share receipts and reports via email
• UK tax year support (6 April to 5 April)
• Works offline — scan now, sync later

ORGANISE BY PROJECT
Group receipts by job — "Kitchen Refit, 42 Oak Lane" or "Bathroom Install, Mrs Patel". See materials costs per project at a glance and export job-costing reports.

DASHBOARD AT A GLANCE
See your total spend, receipt count, VAT reclaimed, and top expense categories on a clear dashboard. Filter by tax year or quarter.

PRIVACY FIRST
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Receipt images are stored securely and are never shared with third parties. You can request full data deletion at any time.

TradeDocket is made by Scale Platforms Ltd, based in the UK.
