Use the web browser *2025-12-04* App is utterly trash and feels like a project from a 12 year old developer. It contains maybe 5% of the functions from the web version. ### 2/5 — Top menu never works *2024-09-11, version 2.10.2* Anytime I try to go back on the previous page, nothing works. I have to exit the app and log back in every single time. Very frustrating. Hopefully they fix this soon. ### 3/5 — Missing totals *2024-02-23* Please display the total monthly and weekly PnL just like you do on the desktop version. You could have the monthly right next to the month’s name and the weekly total by replacing it for the Sunday/Saturday columns. When you view a screenshot from your trade, you can‘t exit it without closing the App which is very inconvenient becau the X is in the upper left corner in the status bar of the iPhone. ### 1/5 — Needs work. *2023-11-08, version 2.9.22* Limited functions. I imagine this is a problem for a lot of users too. I expected it not to be able to link to the api but thought you would be able to add trades manually. Makes the viewing experience complicated and confusing in my opinion. That’s the only thing I would have different. Can’t set the date of a trade? Keyboard overlaps results when entering a tag? Unfixed. ### 4/5 — Loving the app and web app! *2022-04-22* Very good web app and mobile app. There’s lots of helpful functionality to help analyze ur trades and learn from them. It helps me be more disciplined! I use thinkorswim for trading options so the broker integration to auto import trades is great to reduce the pain of trade analysis. I also have Cobra/Das Trader but that is a export/ import process but worked fine when I did it. The imported data is accurate for the most part although sometimes I wonder how Some numbers are being determined - for example I am trying to understand my net PnL but I see numbers in millions and clearly that’s not right. I do really like the daily/monthly calendar PnL view, wish you could dive into it on the mobile app but get it that might be better suited for web app. Overall glad I got the paid version. I went through the onboarding checklist to get 60% off…great way to motivate users to learn the software. Can’t access the top menus. I’m unable to correctly visualize and tap on the filter and menu on the top corners. I waited months to get this fixed but it is still an issue. But since it's missing this crucial element, it's hard to go beyond a one-star rating for now. Let me explain why this feature is so critical. Unrealized P/L is like the pulse of your trading activities. It tells you the current state of your open positions – whether you're making money or not. This isn't just about numbers; it's about having a clear, up-to-the-minute picture of your trading health. Without it, you're missing a big part of the story. Now, think about driving a car without a fuel gauge. You could still drive, but you'd be guessing when you might run out of gas. That's what trading without unrealized P/L feels like. You're in the dark about how your open positions are performing, which can be risky. It's essential for making informed decisions on whether to hold, fold, or adjust your strategies. Moreover, this feature isn't just about today's profits or losses. It's about learning and adapting. By tracking your unrealized P/L, you start noticing patterns in your trading. Do certain strategies consistently show profits or losses? This insight is invaluable for refining your approach and becoming a smarter trader. In essence, unrealized P/L is not just a nice-to-have; it's a must-have in a trading journal. It's the key to making informed decisions, managing risks, and growing as a trader. Without it, a trading journal like TraderSync isn't tapping into its full potential. ### 1/5 — Poor product *2023-12-01* I have written multiple reviews and they keep getting removed or not put up for public view. I am on the third year of this company charging me without my consent. The product is glitchy and did not work well for me. I stop using and cancelled. Yet I keep getting charged. ### 1/5 — Beware of this company *2023-11-28* I signed up three years ago and paid for a full year. I canceled because I no longer use the service it was too glitchy. They charged me again last year $239 after I had already cancelled. I disputed with my credit card made sure I had canceled but the credit card ruled in their favor. So I lost $239. Ok I let it go never used the app that I had cancelled and then this month they charged me another $239! I could not believe it. I again disputed but with no paper proof the credit card again sided with this unscrupulous company. They now have taken 480 in unauthorized purchases. I tried logging into the app and it says my account was cancelled. No way to contact them. VERY unhappy customer. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — AMAZING. Only thing I’d suggest is the app experience to parallel the desktop experience. Desktop experience is the best! & The mobile is a must-have as well. Love Trader Sync overall. Time Stamp Bug: There is a bug regarding time stamp of buy/sell, when entering the trades before 12 everything enters correctly, but trades after 12 are being treated as morning trades. This is big bug as for day trading sell is treated as first entry even though its afternoon there by counting it as short position and not long. Looks like short and then covered for lower price and results as showing up loss. (I correct the entry time manually on each afternoon entry to avoid the issue) ### 5/5 — Great Stuff *2021-01-17* Platform has great functionality, gets regular updates, and has awesome support. It’s a package deal: most of your heavy lifting will come from the web interface, with the mobile acting as a high performing reporting tool. But how could it be any other way? What serious trader is hand-entering their trades via a phone, lol. Seriously, there is this platform, then everyone else. Nothing is even close. If you’re looking for a journaling tool, stop here. TraderSync tracks all trades and transactions and gives a detailed analysis of your portfolios statistics, profits, losses, and much more! I have been using this app to track my day trading progress and because of TraderSync I know what strategies work for me to make a profit. I now profit on more than 68% of the trades I take and have more than doubled my money in my accounts in less than 50 days! Thank you TraderSync for the time put into this app and the statistical breakdowns you have implemented.
