### 1/5 — iPhone app sucks

This app worked marginally well until the last update. No the portfolio position rebalance function is totally FUBAR. Basically worthless

**Developer response:** Good Morning.  We apologize that you had difficulty rebalancing via the mobile app.  While you have the portfolio open, if you scroll to the bottom of the position list, you should see a button 'Run Risk Rebalancer'.  Clicking this button should allow you to rebalance your portfolio.  Please contact our Customer Success team at 866-385-2076 if you run into any issues or have any questions.

Tradesmith is obviously a top-notch stock advisory. Trouble is, in my opinion, they overly complicate things. They have a dozen of services to choose from, which can be a little difficult. And when they send out emails, it’s hard to identify emails that are coming from them so I end up deleting many that I wish I had realized were coming from this organization. Tradesmith is for people that have a tremendous amount of time to invest in reviewing market information seven days a week. That’s not me. I own and operate several small businesses plus do very well in the market. Just too much for me, but could be great for others.

### 2/5 — Cost basis bogus

Don’t trust the cost basis if you have multiple entry dates on a position. App doesn’t support such multiple entry positions (per tech support) thus many cost basis are totally bogus. For example my brokerage account shows $8K cost basis on a position but TradeSmith shows $48K.

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback.   You are correct, at this time our software does not support multiple purchase lots (entry dates).   We are very sorry for any inconvenience this causes.  Our development team is investigating solutions for this issue, however, at this time we do not have an ETA on when a solution will be available.

The bug where portfolios were missing is fixed after reinstalling twice. Useful technicals. Mobile app capabilities are pretty limited. Would be awesome if tradesmith had an api.

There is no way to view positions. This is not resolved. If there has been an update, it is not available to me. I’ll update this review when it’s fixed.

There are some serious bugs right now. It won’t show my positions when I click on my portfolios. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app and it gives an error message on login as if I’m not logged in, but shows me some of my account details. Also there has never been a way to close positions in the mobile app which is kind of ridiculous.

Love the idea of the app.  Because I use secure passwords (long), getting into the app makes it a non-starter for me, now.  Did not see how to turn on login information or face detect.  So keying in a long email (18 characters) and long password (16) characters is not really something I want to do every time I use the app.  What am I missing?

**Developer response:** We apologize for not responding at the time you left this review.  Since you left this review, we have addressed this question.  Once you are logged into the app, select more.   Then select Settings.   Then, select FaceID/Passcode to manage your preferences.

I feel like there is some new feature every time I open the app. Thank you for continuing to improve and make it great for us. I’ve been using the app more and more lately to track my positions.

Please do not waste you money on this company. Software does not keep up with trades with Fidelity or Interactive Brokers and it is a huge pain to connect to Interactive Brokers and it messes up and you have to redo it. I never could manage to connect to Ally Invest. These people will take your money and you won’t gain a thing.

**Developer response:** I see that our team was assisting you with sync'ing your Interactive Brokers account in March.  Our sync specialist sent you an alternate link to import your account but I do not see that you have imported yet from Interactive Brokers.   We would be happy to assist you with this process. I bought the service in reliance on their advertisement: No Risk 30 day free preview.  I viewed the product and canceled within a day. Now they are telling me I can only get a credit to use on their product. Buyer beware.

**Developer response:** We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with our product.  We do have a satisfaction guarantee with all of our offers.   The terms of the guarantee vary by offer.   It sounds like you responded to an offer that had a TradeSmith Credit guarantee, meaning if you chose to cancel within the guarantee period you would receive the amount paid in the form of TradeSmith Credit (ie - store credit).  The guarantee terms on our offers are always disclosed on our online order forms, directly above the section you would complete to place your order.   We place the guarantee terms in this location so that customers will see the terms before placing their order.  We would love the opportunity to speak with you further to address your concerns.
