The only thing I highly recommend is for TradeZero mobile app to allow to place orders up to 4 decimal places. Managed to short 200 000 shares on a low floater only means that the broker is taking the other side of the trade and not acting on your behalf. Fills are extremely slow as well. Avoid at all cost. ### 1/5 — Ouvre une fois sur 4 *2025-06-06, version 3.4.5* L’application pour PC fonctionne bien. Cependant, j’ai un IPhone 16 et l’appli sur mobile ne semble pas compatible. Elle ne s’ouvre tout simplement pas suite à l’approbation des entrées de mot de passe ou de Face ID. Ils ont fait plusieurs mises à jour depuis des mois (j’utilise sur mon PC depuis 10 mois environ) sans résultats. Je leur ai envoyé plusieurs fois les feedbacks et message d’erreur qui apparaissent. I dont have the money to pay $50 a month to demo trade right now ### 3/5 — Be CAREFUL! *2025-03-13* Warning: DO NOT USE FOR MOMENTUM TRADI G! I was prepared to give this app a really high rating, until this morning when it cost me a couple grand. The app is setup pretty well, barebones , but that’s wha you want if you are doing any kind of day trading I know it’s counterintuitive to think about trusting an app to I any kind of active trading, but once I setup the hotkeys, I found myself doing more and more active trading , especially during pre market. Once you get used ti the flow, the speed to placing an order is really nice. Very convenient and I did very well, maybe even better than at my multi monitor station because I was able to just focus on the buy/sell. Placing a manual order is not quick , but the hotels are, until my orders started failing while stocks were selling off fast. The orders were not completed because the prices were too far off, which they should not have e been , after a few times I could see that it is a problem with the app, not the price. Also the app can slow down and freeze up often , make sure to restart before you need to. ### 2/5 — Needs an app revamp *2025-03-08* App seems outdated slow and hard to use. Trade view and others have easier to use tools, indicator list and navigations. If they update their interface could be a main one ### 2/5 — Terrible *2024-12-28, version 3.4.1* This is the worst brokerage app out there . Repeat Login failure , disconnects as soon as you get out of app , orders don’t display , freezes . ### 3/5 — Many failures *2024-12-20* Latest update has many issues with nearly always not able to log in, no portfolio display, no order display, old or missing price data. They will do better as this was one of the best and look at all the new trailing and options features they are adding! Fix it guys! ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2024-12-10* TradeZero is good but their app could use improvements. It’s not easy to navigate, many times it freezes. Also, I wish it would default open to my portfolio instead of my watchlist. I even deleted the watchlist tab but it still default opens to it. I also wish we could see stuff like our available day trades and YTD gains/losses on the app without having to pop open the browser version. As mentioned it does its job and TradeZero is the best platform for shorting stocks, but you have to put up with their app. If their app was more user-friendly it would get a higher rating. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2024-09-19, version 3.3.9* I have yet to be able to log in on a consistent basis. Don’t add new features, just fix the bugs first! I have TZ app open, then I go and look at a chart at another app (in the same Iphone), after a few seconds, I go back to TZ app and it freezes. So I need to close the app and log in again. This is probably the worst trading platform I have ever used. Customer service was horrible, they didn’t even know the product. And when you actually DO get a fill, they fill your order WAY ABOVE your order entry. Yesterday I tried to buy a stock at $4 and TradeZero filled it at $4.50… $4.50!!!!! Absolute TRASH broker. Shutting my account down immediately. Very very VERY unhappy and disappointed in TradeZero.
