I use it on touch devices mostly and it’s pretty slick. I would request that the developers add an option to lock the right edge of the screen. It would help tremendously when switching timeframes. Currently when switching timeframes I get flung into some random period and I spend too much time searching for my markups. This throws me off my game when I’m studying or tape reading. There is currently an option to lock the left edge of the screen which I think was meant to have the same function, but it doesn’t work as intended. Please give the option to lock the right edge as it would be AMAZING for backtesting and switching timeframes. Also having a manual time advance button would help move time forward without out letting a finger slip and revealing a time period that you were trying to visualize when backtesting. This would be like the replay mode but manual and better and it would work magically with the right edge screen lock option. I hope this feedback helps! ### 3/5 — Subscription for charting tools. *2026-08-24, version 2.137.0* I didnt need a subscription around 6am to use tools (trendlines, rectangles, etc.) but now a couple hours later I do. Idk that kinda rubs me the wrong way... It is very annoying when I need to move to a different timeframe and it keeps moving you around to different dates. The app just keeps moving to different time or position in the chart. It also does not work when you switch to a different instrument. Also I wish they would allow you choose which part of the screen the app would lock into when you switch timeframes, either left, middle or right side. I’m so sick of playing Where’s Waldo when switching to different timeframes and I have to find where I was. However, the app UI received a devastating regression on a recent update which completely removed the ability to see any details for any symbol (i.e. detailed earnings data, etc.) Will be cancelling my membership if this is not resolved as a bug in the near future, because the app is quite useless to me without this ability. No I will not reach out to your support team to give feedback - this review is my feedback. ### 1/5 — I hate this app. You make it overly comp *2026-08-25, version 2.138.0* This app doesn’t have simple features that you need and makes everything over complicated such as finding basic things like how to make the screen in dark mode. The show I’m having is I’m trying to research a ETF dividend price. On the iPhone, I cannot find where it is where it tells about the stock it’s dividend and the financials. It’s so hard to reset to normal view and delete panes you don’t want. On mobile and desktop, it’s like there are 3 panes on my chart and I only want one. I can’t select the other 2 to delete the panes, it just goes fullscreen then I can’t see the candle chart and I don’t see a way to reset the chart It so hard to use your mobile platform. Why does the reset chart option disappear. It’s very hard to control the normal layout of the chart then the pan3s get screwed up and I can’t figure out how to reset back, it’s so frustrating!!!! So you actually remove the reset button and didn’t tell users. I had to search critical comments to figure out if I was crazy. I’m not, your app development is subpar. TradingView is a pretty app, but not functional that’s a major problem and your subscriptions are expensive and even more when it’s not functional to the users. The focus should be highly functional and simple to use, with good help resources.
