## What is Trail To First Class?

Hey Scouts! Did you always find rank advancement to be a huge pain in the butt? Don't you just find it annoying that you gotta flip through a giant book to find some answer to a requirement? Well, tell you what, I'm changing that.

With this app, answers to requirements are now:
• Shown to you in the most obvious way possible. No hassle, no nothing. (quite literally a list of requirements you can click open to see the answer)
• Explained as directly and simply as possible.*
• Updated LIVE. No need to update the app if answers to requirements are changed. (you will need an internet connection to download updates tho)
• Updated overtime as well. New answers will be added, and old answers may be improved.

*Though for some requirements, it is absolutely impossible to determine a single good answer as they can vary heavily depending on factors such as geological location. (Don't worry, though. We'll still provide as much guidance as possible on it.)

and uh yeah that's it. have fun. if u got any feedback or you're not satisfied with an answer to a requirement, use the feedback form (find the button in-app) so I can update it!

i'm back bois sry i kinda got some stuff to do and i also got hooked into some anime/manga
so now I'm actually done i can update the app xDxDxD

ficks bugg:
- iPad should no longer rotate to portrait (finally)
- iPhone should no longer rotate to landscape (finally!!! :0)

THOUGH:
This does not work 100% for whatever reason. This seems like a Unity thing more than an implementation error. For whatever reason, on the iPad, when u rotate the screen while the splash screen is happening, it will confuse the code or something and make it not work. The iPhone variant *seems* fine and works the way I intend it to.

so for the iPad, what seems to be happening is that if u rotate it to the wrong direction while it's displaying the splash screen, and u let it enter the main menu while it's happening, the code won't recognize whatever ratio that is, and will get confused on what to actually display for u. so if u have the iPad held landscape in the first place, it will never rotate to any other orientation, which is what is intended. but let's be honest - who tf doesn't have rotation lock enabled...? (maybe it's just me lmao idk)

I'll be workin' to try to get this issue resolved in a future update. cuz i have more important things to do rn I'll just leave it here and come back l8r

- added more thingies on the splash screen.

ik its kinda a small update - I'm planning on an entire UI redesign, as well as developer-side changes to make developing this app easier.
next update might take a while. I will be adding a devlog on my website so you can keep updated on what I'm doing.

major fixes:
- changing to light theme in system settings will no longer make the main menu look brighter than discord's light theme (brother in christ why tf you using light mode in the first place?)
- the app will no longer auto-rotate and f### up the UI (like if u rotate ur phone the app rotates yea yea that stuff)
- the app should now work without internet like it's designed to do. (you still gotta have internet to download updates tho)

- the website button should now lead you to "ttfc.zip" instead of the original temporary redirect.
