## What is Trail Trip?

Trail Trip turns the workouts and GPS routes stored in Apple Health into multi-day journeys you can explore, analyze, and share.

• HealthKit, automatically grouped
Trail Trip reads your hiking, walking, running, and cycling workouts directly from HealthKit — no manual upload, no third-party account. Smart grouping detects date and location gaps to assemble multi-day trips, then deduplicates workouts so your stats stay clean.

• Maps and statistics at a glance
The Overview map draws every loaded route on one canvas, with stable per-trip colors and day-boundary markers. Statistics aggregate distance, duration, elevation, and energy across all your trips, with weekly trends and longest-trip highlights.

• Trip detail, fully rendered
Open any trip to see the full route, day-by-day breakdown, elevation profile, and pace analysis. Cross-midnight routes can be colored by local date so multi-day treks read clearly. Place labels fill in automatically for trips without a name.

• Posters worth sharing
Share any trip as a poster with map, stats, and your photos. Pro templates offer additional layouts and colorways, and you can hide the Trail Trip brand mark for clean exports to social media.

• iCloud sync and backups
Trips, notes, and endpoint overrides sync across your devices through iCloud. Export and import full backups as .trailtrip documents, or import GPX files as external assets that are never touched by Health refreshes.

• Privacy first
All processing stays on your device. Trail Trip only reads Health data — it never writes, edits, or deletes workouts or routes. No analytics, no ad networks, no third-party trackers.
