Smarter Plant & Mushroom Identification PlantNet and the on-device AI model now run in parallel, giving you faster results and a local confirmation badge when both agree on a species. Mushroom detection accuracy has been improved with a refined confidence threshold and an expanded species database. Group Trail Reliability The Group Trail feature has been significantly improved. Firebase authentication errors are now clearly reported with a Retry button, so connection issues no longer leave you stuck on a setup screen. Feature Discovery Hints Pulsing green badges on the Flora, Discoveries, and Group tabs guide you to features you may not have explored yet. Tap the badge to learn what each feature does. Previously, an hours-old cached position could be pushed to Firestore, showing members at the wrong location Group Trail — New Features • QR code invite — a QR code is shown when creating a group; others can scan it with the camera instead of typing the 6-character code • Stop Hike / Stop Ride button — full-width red button below the stats bar; label adapts to activity type • All members' route lines on the map — each participant's path is drawn in their assigned color (own route is thicker/more opaque; others are thinner/translucent) • Auto-fit camera on first GPS fix — when the map opens before members have a location, the camera automatically zooms to fit everyone once the first position arrives Bug Fixes • onSessionCompleted / onSessionDeleted callbacks were missing from the web DatabaseService stub, causing a compile error caught by static analysis ### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-01 Group Trail: Hike or ride with friends in real time.
