## What is Train Sounds Effects?

With Train-Sounds you expand your model railway with additional sound effects. Thus the joy deepens around your model railway. Use your iPad speakers or external speakers to listen these effects. The combination of switches and buttons allow you to determine how these effects are to be played. With switches, the effects are playing in a continuous loop and with buttons only once. At each switching element, you can adjust the volume individually. 

Buy through the in-app you add value to your version of Train-Sounds, you can bring your own sound effects into the program.

### 5/5 — Sound Files upload possiblities

There are some great sounds in this app. One is able to upload more train sounds (or any other) however this can only be done from your apple music library. When sharing a soundfile mp3 this app regretfully does NOT show up as one of the possible target destinations. Would be great if it were possible to upload from other sources like e.g. Dropbox or the Files app. For sure the app would be rated ***** by me then. Update: In your updated version indeed your app appears as a possible target destination. However when chosen this only opens your app. And that’s it. There is NO import of the soundfile executed.
Update2: On my iPad I choose a soundfile to share with TrainSounds; in the pop-up menu I choose ‘share’ and scroll to the right and choose your app. Your app opens and …. nothing. There is nowhere a ‘new file’ to be found which was supposed to be imported. I am sorry, this not working as you describe (version 1.4.5).

Thank you for your feedback and patience. I revisited the issue you described and made further improvements that should address it. Please update to the latest version(1.4.6) and try importing an MP3 or WAV file again. I've made specific adjustments to enhance integration with other apps like Dropbox and the Files app.

thank you for the information. I updated the import function so that you can share from other apps mp3 and wav files too. This will be available with the version 1.4.5.
Update:
When you selected the mp3 file and my was open with it, scroll to the end of the right site. The last one with name „new file“ is the imported one. You can change the name and the button type in the option settings.

That is right, the normal import it’s only for Apple Music and all your music files that is available there, but from other apps, you can share your music files and use as target my app then the file will be imported.

I paid for the version expecting a wider variety of train sounds. Did I get that? NOPE! It added sounds that have nothing to do with a train. 

Why do I have farm sounds?

Why does the train horn sound more like a kazoo?

Since when does a mosquito sound like a fly?

I’m glad it was only $1

Wie bekommt man die gekauften Sounds in die App?

die App bietet alle Sounds direkt und kostenfrei an. Die In-App Kauf Version beinhaltet das entfernen der Werbung und die Möglichkeit eigene Sound Dateien in der App verwenden zu können.

My son was playing at a vintage railway station and this was great for making the train seem real! There are sounds for trains new and old as well as ambient toggles. Highly recommend for model railway (my son has LEGO and Hornby trains) as well as general train sound fun.

Ich nutze die App jetzt seit ein paar Tagen, und kann sie wirklich nur jedem weiterempfehlen. Das einzige was stört ist, diese kurze Unterbrechungen bei ein paar Sounds. Beispiel der TriebwagenSound. Sound hört sich super an, doch wenn er sich wiederholt stoppt es 1 Sekunde und man hört dann gar nichts. In Echt läuft der Motor ja eigentlich die ganze Zeit, das ist dann schon echt blöd und ich bitte um Behebung dieses Problems. Sonst einfach nur Top 👍
