Приложение суперское. Очень помогает в жизни. Помимо слов, есть еще и фразы, и идиомы. Единственное, разработчики, добавьте пожалуйста возможность учиться на 2х языках. То есть чтобы можно было добавить перевод рус и англ. Как студенту, который учится на английском очень нужен перевод еще и на русском. Некоторые слова уровня HSK5-6 я не знаю на английском, это проблематично. В свое время постоянно меняю языки в приложение, ибо переводчик не всегда грамотно переводит

Третий год оплачиваю подписку на приложение, сначала все было отлично, но после того, как изменили интерфейс - стала полная жесть, приложением стало абсолютно невозможно пользоваться!!! Сначала убрали возможность сохранять в список сразу много слов из истории поиска - теперь можно сохранять только по одному. Для каждого слова нужно 4-5 кликов, чтобы положить в нужный список. Это просто ад, когда я работаю над текстом, очевидно, что удобнее сначала посмотреть в словаре все слова, а потом из истории сразу все перенести их в список - нет, теперь в час по чайной ложке предлагается переносить в списки слово за словом. Помучилась, помучилась и перестала использовать списки вообще. Новая компоновка карточек слов - супер неудобная, примеры использования объединили с разбором иероглифов, сам разбор иероглифов (ключевая фича приложения(!)) убрали в самый низ карточки, теперь надо проматывать эти чертовы примеры, чтобы добраться до разбора. На дистанции сотен иероглифов бесит жутко. Добил сегодняшний инцидент - час слушала видео, на слух искала слова, все сохранялись в историю (то есть специально открывала каждую карточку). Через час открываю историю, чтобы прописать слова, начинаю работать, два клика сделала - все новые слова из истории пропали, час работы коту под хвост. Был лучший русско-китайский словарик, сейчас просто сил уже нет продолжать бороться с новым интерфейсом. Откатите назад - цены приложению не будет

I can upload tonnes of lists of words. Since I focus on listening and speaking, I can play the native speakers’ pronunciation & therefore can pronounce better. In conjunction with their Audio Trainer app, these words & sentences ( you have to have them added to lists ) can be played out in as many repetitions I want and it keeps looping as long as I want. This makes for a very fast way to pick up the language naturally. Well done, team TrainChinese !

大家好～ I love this app, and it’s modes of training are very helpful. Or, at least, they were before the most recent major update. Now, I cannot…
- read the full length of long phrases in training mode
- add more than two strokes to a drawing before it glitches 
- draw characters in whichever order

Plus, the multiple choice is often of the same phrase copied twice, only one is correct. 

I hope that the developers fix the app soon because, generally, the flashcards, dictionary, and training modes were all very helpful and I’ll miss them. These features from a free app really made it stand out, but now…

После обновления перестали искаться иероглифы (перевод и пиньинь) по фото. Партшкол дочери очень по мот надо это приложение, сейчас бесполезное стало.

I’ve started using it as a Beta user in 2009 and now in 2025, my Chinese is way too good for learning anything with Duolingo or Mondly. Train Chinese is not only good to start with but the only one for surpassing a basic level of Chinese.

I’ve been a user for a couple years now, but really love the new design of the app - feels much more modern and user friendly, thanks for the update! 

I also love that I can search offline for words and the flashcards using SRS is a brilliant function. 

Although you can access more as a paid subscriber, I’ve found the free account still to be extremely useful.

I am a loyal customer of 13 years, Lifetime subscriber, and passed HSK5 about 6 years ago because of your App’s help.

Recently, I discovered the App’s appearance and function has changed drastically without my request. The new interface is much less efficient to use than the old , and many details do not sit well with me, such as how animations are controlled and rendered. Now there is a movie button, and the writing is jerky and totally lacking in steady rhythm of the old one. 

I apologize to be so critical, I’m sure a lot of work went into the new one, and I congratulate your diligent effforts, but I wish to revert to the previous version (a year ago?).”

Пожалуйста, передвиньте кнопку «выйти» (из аккаунта) из левого верхнего угла в другое место (вниз куда-нибудь например)! Интуитивно там располагается кнопка «назад». Я уже раз 20 вышел из приложения, и каждый раз приходится снова вводить логин и пароль

Верните старую версию. Дизайн просто ужасный. Из-за багов неудобно искать перевод. Просто не дает дописать пиньин и начинает искать перевод по которому ничего не выйдет. Уж лучше в бкрс искать перевод 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

After a few teething troubles in the update, the app is now excellent. I’ve been using it all from beginner to advanced level for over 14 years. It’s a great way and convenient of learning vocabulary. Characters are the hardest part of the language and this ideal way to learn. It fits perfectly with other learning.

To be honest, this is a really good app. I’ve had it for many years and there are certain aspects of it that are even better than the likes of Pleco, for example. This app really excels at providing examples through sentences, and also very clearly breaks down grammar points. You can also make those separate flashcards so that you can review full sentences instead of only words if desired, and you can remember how to use grammar patterns that may be tough to remember (by making a grammar point its own flashcard!). I usually learn traditional characters but also really appreciate being able to learn both character sets. The customer service team has always been really responsive and I noticed that a previous bug that was causing the badge number in the app (that reflects due cards) to be stuck, even after deleting those cards, has now resolved. Keep up the great work!

I have tried many apps and methods to learn Chinese - a challenging task. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. One essential ingredient is a good dictionary. The standard people love is Pleco, which I was also a fan of until I tried this app. I much prefer Train Chinese. I like the colours. I like the clear maps of how characters are constructed. I like the generous and clear examples. If you turn on the suggestion facility it will throw up a new world every few hours. It’s also got a great online component. So very highly recommended

I highly recommend this app for anyone serious about learning Chinese characters. They break down the character to an easy understandable components. You also have the option of adding hard to learn characters to a list where you can learn them later on.
