## What is Training Manuals?

The Training Manuals App is an information and training solution for the provision of training manuals, aircraft maintenance manuals, master service manuals, wiring diagram manuals, flight manuals, illustrated spare parts lists and other documents. Authorized Airbus Helicopters Group employees and their customers have access to all the specific manuals they need. In addition, WebBasedTrainings (WBTs) in SCORM Standard 1.2 and 2004 can be carried out and learning progress evaluated. With the digital examination workflow, examinations can be written and evaluated automatically. Launch HTML5 publications as webPackage without a network connection.
   
Each user can enter individual notes and annotations, highlight pages and navigate through the manuals using either a page preview or a bookmark list. The individual notes and annotations are saved locally on each user's iPad and automatically backed up in the document library when connected to the server.
 
Documents are managed and distributed via group memberships in DocLib. All data is encrypted both on the server and on the iPad. If a user's iPad is lost, the data is retained. As part of a user account transfer, all data can be transferred from one device to another. The data can be restored at any time.

### 26.3.0 — 2026-06-30

The user interface for offline HTML5 content has been further optimised. It is now possible to switch between HTML5 content – such as a simulation (emulator) – and another document, such as an eManual (PDF), from the document library. This makes it easier to access further information from the manuals associated with the specific content. This version also supports a new user role, ‘Reader’, which allows users to access provided content in read-only mode.

### 26.1.2 — 2026-04-18

The work environment for offline HTML5 content has been optimized. In addition to improved license management (content timeout down to the second), a movable close button allows users to adapt the content to a less obtrusive position on the workspace. With this version, the entire training process can be conducted offline. Access to the content is secured through the encrypted offline web package.Optimized error handling for invalid content.

### 26.1 — 2026-03-31

Offline Webcontent - Launch your HTML publications directly from your iPad's internal storage without a network connection. Whether PowerPoint slides or complex simulations, these can be easily integrated into your teaching workflow or used in practical applications with technical components.

### 26.0 — 2025-11-24

This release is designed for iOS 26. It is recommended to use at least iOS 26.1. It utilizes Apple's Swift UI for iOS 26. Asynchronous processes support fast and clean loading of documents and notes. The exam workflow has been further secured by changing the encryption algorithms. With this release, older iOS versions are no longer supported. For older devices and iOS, please use version 2.9.0
