Trainual is great, but the app needs serious help. I don’t even use it. The buttons don’t always work, it only works in portrait mode and there isn’t much admin function. You’re better off using the web browser on your iPad than this app.

I downloaded the app and then it kept asking me login to my account, but there’s no clear way to set up an account.

### 2/5 — Image links don’t work. Can’t edit Trainuals.

Had to edit several trainuals because if you make images clickable, they don’t work on mobile.

Also, I work remotely, and walking while working on trainual is a great way to switch things up. However, you can’t edit anything via mobile, so I have to note down changes I want to make and make them when I get home after my walk.

Multiple employees on my team have iPhones and cannot hit the mark complete button on any of the trainuals we have set up.  We started with Trainual a few months back to set it up to make our onboarding more efficient, but if my staff can’t use their phones to finish the work we will have to seek out a different platform.. I have deleted the app and redownloaded to see if that helped the problem and I did not. This is such a great idea, but the execution doesn’t deliver..

I’m so disappointed. I downloaded this after reading the reviews and after downloading, there is no signup page for new users. It’s just a regular login page and the “reset password” button doesn’t work because I don’t have an account. So bummed.

- Answers stream in as they're written, so you can start reading straight away.
- A redesigned welcome screen suggests useful prompts based on your account.
- Watch the assistant work — it shows the steps it took and the sources it checked.
- Results come back as rich cards for people, subjects, files and other content.
- Choose which sources a chat is allowed to use; your selection sticks when you come back to it.
- Copy any answer, or rate it with a thumb up or down and tell us what went wrong.
- Long questions collapse behind "read more", and a jump-to-latest button keeps you on the newest reply.
- If a request fails, an inline banner lets you retry without leaving the conversation.
- Sharper formatting throughout — proper lists, headings and emphasis.

SUBJECTS, STEPS AND FILES
- Save a file to your device from the file screen, where downloads are allowed.
- Steps containing comments no longer open blank.
- Wide tables scroll sideways again.
- PDFs register as complete once you reach the last page.
- Courses show completion progress as you work through them, and recover in place if one fails to load.
- Clearer messages when content has been deleted or isn't assigned to you.

FASTER, CALMER LOADING
- Pages fill in with placeholders while they load instead of a bare spinner — on Home, subjects, tests and profiles.
- Pull-to-refresh now shows what it's doing.

- One-time code entry fixed: pasting, backspace and cursor position all behave.
- Password autofill works again.
