Trakio — GPS Lap Timer for Track Days Trakio is a focused lap timing app built for drivers who want clean data and zero distraction on track day. Open the app, select your circuit, and drive — Trakio handles the rest. Pre-Session Checklist Before you head out, Trakio confirms you're ready: GPS signal strength, battery level, and start/finish line configuration. No surprises on your out lap. Auto Circuit Detection Trakio uses your location to automatically identify your nearest circuit and pre-select it for you. Check the weather conditions and wind at the track, then name your session and go. GPS Lap Timing Laps are timed automatically as you cross the start/finish line — no buttons to press while driving. Run it on your iPhone's GPS, or pair a Bluetooth receiver for a faster, sharper data stream. External GPS Support Connect a Qstarz BL-1000GT / BL-818GT or a RaceBox Mini, Mini S or Micro, and Trakio times your laps from a 10-25Hz stream instead of the roughly 1Hz your phone provides. Crossings land where you actually crossed and sector splits hold up. Circuits Around the World Search in English or Japanese, filter by country, sort by what's nearest, and star the ones you run most. Every circuit is drawn with its real outline, so you know a track by its shape. Timing now handles layouts with a separate start and finish line, so the Nordschleife Bridge-to-Gantry run is timed properly from bridge to gantry instead of being forced into a lap. FIND YOUR CIRCUIT FASTER - Search in English or Japanese, including circuit names written either way - Filter by country, or show only your favorites - Sort by distance from you, or alphabetically - Star any circuit to pin it to your Favorites - Circuit cards rebuilt around the track outline, so you recognise a track by its shape TRACK OUTLINES EVERYWHERE Every circuit now draws its real shape on the map and on its card, rather than a generic marker. FIXES - Timing lines are now detected at low speed, so a slow in-lap or a cool-down crossing is no longer missed - Corrected Qstarz accuracy and battery readings after validation against real device data - Menu and circuit translation fixes in Japanese ### 1.3.2 — 2026-07-31 Requested Suzuka Twin Circuit layouts are now available: Full Course and G Course. Track layout names now appear wherever they matter—including track selection, live recording, session history and details, leaderboards, shared images, X posts, and PDF exports. Leaderboard sharing is easier: after recording a personal best, Trakio can offer to publish it. Existing shared times are recognized, so you won’t be asked to share the same result again.
