## What is TrakMac?

Tell TrakMac what you ate. It does the math.

Voice-first macro tracking dialed into how people actually live. Skip the database grind, the barcode scanning, the "log my exact gram weights" busywork. Say "Corporate slop bowl, double steak, brown rice." TrakMac estimates calories and protein in seconds. Confirm or tweak. Done.

WHAT'S DIFFERENT

Most macro apps treat everyone the same. Punch in height, weight, age, gender, get a number. That number is wrong for most people who train, because it ignores how you actually move.

TrakMac asks better questions during onboarding — about your training style and your build — and the numbers that come out the other end fit who you are, not a Mifflin-St Jeor average.

WHAT YOU GET

— Daily calorie + protein targets dialed to your body type
— One-tap voice logging with confidence-rated estimates
— A Coach that answers questions about what to eat based on what's left
— Daily streak that only counts real eating days (1,000+ calories)
— 7-day free trial, no credit card upfront

WHAT YOU DON'T GET

— Food database busywork
— Barcode scanning (defeats the point)
— Social features, leaderboards, or streaks shaming you at 9 PM
— "Mindful journey" copy

THE DISCLAIMER

TrakMac gives you close-enough estimates to help optimize training. Not exact nutritional analysis. Not medical advice. If you have specific health conditions, talk to a registered dietitian. This app is for the "in the ballpark, move on with your life" crowd.

### 5/5 — Simple, easy, accurate

*2026-08-11*

I’ve been a LoseIt user for years, and TrakMac won me over in literally 1 day. The talk-to-log feature, for both food and workouts, is a complete game changer. I’m a busy human, so the easier it is for me to log on the go, the more likely I am to continue. I like the reminders and nudges inside the app as well. If you’re on the fence, just freakin try it!!!

### 5/5 — The best macro tracking app!

*2026-06-07*

If you’re serious about tracking your macros you’ll definitely need this app. Easy to use! You just talk into your phone and the voice tracker does all the work. Stoked the world now has something new and extremely smooth to use! You can literally track your food while you eat! If you don’t download this app then you’re just wasting time.

**Developer response:** Tracking while you're still eating is exactly the workflow we are after. Glad it landed that way for you. Thanks so much for the review. - John, TrakMac

### 5/5 — Voice First Tracking!

*2026-06-06*

I’m always skeptical of new tracking apps as they are all basically the same with boring interfaces and the same info presented in a drab way.
TrakMac changes that. First of all you can log your meals and workouts just by talking to the app. No more searching and no more driving. I like to log my meals on the go, either while eating or driving back to work from my lunch break, so this definitely comes in handy.
Secondly, the app is very aesthetically pleasing. Great colorways and fonts make this a truly user friendly experience. Give it a shot!

**Developer response:** The "no more searching" part was the whole reason we built this. Logging a meal shouldn't take longer than eating it. Thanks for the review. - John, TrakMac

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-06-02*

From the UX to the color palette, TrakMac is my new favorite and by far the best nutrition-tracking app I've ever used. As someone who's long been in the health and fitness but not in a serious way, the app is helping me step up my nutrition, figure out my goals, and help me track them without a lot of fuss.

**Developer response:** "Without a lot of fuss" is exactly the goal. TrakMac is for people who want to pay attention to nutrition without it becoming a second job. Thanks for writing this up! - John, TrakMac

### 5/5 — Easy & Convenient

*2026-06-02*

Voice entry is the big differentiator here, cause it actually works. Say what you are and no worries about searching, scanning, or portion corrections. Low friction means I actually keep using it.

**Developer response:** "Low friction means I actually keep using it" is our whole product. IT's the thing I can check every release. Thanks so much for the review. - John, TrakMac

### 5/5 — So easy and accurate!

*2026-06-02*

Very easy to use and accurate. Love the design and functionality. Highly recommend!

**Developer response:** Appreciate it. Easy and accurate is a harder combination than it sounds, so it's good to hear it's holding up. :) - John, TrakMac

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-06-01*

TrakMac dispelled all my initial anxieties about macro tracking and is already helping me build healthier habits. It’s made it easy (and fun) to start tracking my macros and actually stick with it because I don’t have to obsess over every little detail. It’s just the right amount of structure and accountability without taking up mental/emotional energy

**Developer response:** "Structure and accountability without taking up mental/emotional energy". I am, quite frankly, going to borrow that. It's a better description than anything I've written. Estimates instead of obsessing over decimals was a deliberate call. Thanks so much! - John, TrakMac

### 5/5 — The easiest way to track!

*2026-05-31*

Being able to simply talk to my phone and instantly get an estimate of my macros and daily intake has been a game-changer. The app is easy to navigate, has a clean home screen, and makes it simple to see exactly what I need to adjust to hit my goals. I’ve tried plenty of other tracking apps, but nothing has clicked quite like this one!

**Developer response:** Seeing what's left to adjust at a glance is the part I use most myself. Glad it clicked and thanks for giving us a try! - John, TrakMac

### 5/5 — Easiest way to track protein

*2026-05-31*

I’ve had the hardest time keeping track of my protein intake, but this app makes it insanely easy. I just speak my meals and exercise and it tallies in a simple, beautiful interface. 🙌

**Developer response:** Protein is the number most people lose track of, so that's what I built the dashboard around. Really glad it's making it easy! - John, TrakMac

### 5/5 — Voice Operated = Piece of (not literal) Cake

*2026-05-31*

Love how simple it is to use this app. Quick verbal comment to my phone and my macros are accounted for. No hassle. Complete ease of use. Plus, it starts to learn my common meals and remembers them for later. Tried a few other macro tracking apps. Won’t go back after this. Great look, ease to use, exactly what I was looking for to keep me on track with my fueling goals. Bon appetite.

**Developer response:** You found Favorites! The app learning your regular meals is meant to make repeat logging almost instant. Thanks so much for the detailed review, and bon appétit. - John, TrakMac

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.6 — 2026-08-27

Two fixes you'll actually feel.
Coach used to open to a blank screen and forget your conversation. Now your history is there, right where you left it.

And voice logging could freeze for a few seconds right after you finished speaking. That's gone.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-08-12

Small one this time. We tracked down a rare crash that could happen if you tapped the mic at the exact moment your headphones or charger connected. Fixed. Everything else is right where you left it.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-07-24

We tightened a few bolts this release.
 • Fixed a rare crash when setting your own calorie and protein targets.
 • Faster, steadier logging and sync under the hood.
 • Assorted polish so your streak and history stay exactly where you left them.

Same one-tap voice logging. Just smoother. Thanks for logging with us.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-07-15

Fixes and accuracy improvements.

• Macro estimates are more accurate, especially for simple everyday foods.
• Voice logging is more reliable. Estimates that used to fail and make you retry now go through.
• Fixed a crash that could happen while logging certain foods.
• Fixed a rare crash when tapping the mic in quick succession.
• Fixed a bug where the app could quietly stop syncing while still showing you as signed in.
• Meals you delete no longer come back after reinstalling.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-12

• Streaks — Log each day and build a streak. A simple nudge to keep the habit going.
• Your TrakMac Type — After a couple weeks of logging, unlock your personal TrakMac Type: a fun, genuinely-you read on your eating patterns, with a card you can share.
• Backdated meals — Missed a day? Add or edit meals for past dates, so your history (and your streak) stay accurate.
• Plus polish and reliability improvements throughout.
