## What is Transact Attendance?

Attendance mobile application connects with the Transact Attendance enterprise cloud application to enable instructors to efficiently record student presence in class. Attendance can then be managed, reported, and exported to other systems via easy to use web browser interface. With Transact Attendance, students are able to simply tap an ID card at mobile readers connected to the iOS device via BLE to check in for class. The application is designed to work online or offline. The instructor can easily view and adjust current class attendance using the application.

Transact Attendance simplifies reporting and provides for exporting data to other enterprise systems for automated notifications and grade adjustments.

The mobile application requires the Transact Attendance cloud services.

### 1/5 — Extra add-on that doesn't work of course

I downloaded this hoping that I could finally find something from Blackboard that worked well. No, of course not; you have to buy some extra add-on that I'm sure costs way more money than it's worth like almost everything from Blackboard.  Or at the least, has to be made hard to use, just like every other Blackboard product.
