It’s slow to connect, logs you out of the system whenever it feels like it, automatically puts you back ON duty a few mins after you’ve logged off duty. It’s riddled with constant malfunctions and it’s like the old America Online dial up connection (slow and buggy). Like everyone else says, customer service doesn’t bother responding to questions and complaint. Beginning Aug 2019 they are raising the subscription price too! Very disappointed in Transflo. ### 1/5 — They Use Ruby receptionists as Tech Support. *2019-06-17, version 3.6.10* Well the Device it self is Not bad . sometimes it fails that is normal but what is NOT normal is this company using a third party Receptionist company as tech Support who have NO tech support experience. When you call they answer the phone ,You will NOT get any tech support but will be told they will open a ticket and submit it for you and the “Real” tech support will call you . But guess what good luck getting a call back . NO tech support at ALL .. If device fails while you are out there on the road you are out of Luck . This company. is a big JOKE . How did they think random people answering the phone support line will help ? I don’t know ... I wanted to get help updating my payment method because the system couldn’t let me log into Admin acount . and Despite getting threatening auto Emails about failed payment . they couldn’t help me login into the Account .. Device is decent but if it fails you are out of Luck . ### 1/5 — Don’t buy this eld *2019-06-16, version 3.6.10* Absolutely garbage!!! It is totally unreliable, try to edit it won’t let you. Log off and logs u back on by itself. Noncompliance is a crime, and with this app u will never be compliant!!! ### 1/5 — Customer service very bad *2019-01-18, version 3.6.10* If you have any problem you will be stacked on the road !! They will not answer the phone and if you leave a message they will call you back NEVER !!!!! ### 1/5 — THE WORST *2018-10-12, version 3.6.10* If you are thinking about using Transflo, DON'T!!!! The app is horrible. It randomly changes your duty status to On after you have pressed SB or Off. The customer service is terrible. I have had to leave messages for their ELD support 8 times since April and have only gotten a call back twice. You would think such a big company would do a better job. Non stop switching of duty status while in sleeper, off duty, They will do nothing. I’ve Had this device 5 months, 5 cases and nothing resolved. But they never miss a auto draft. I begged to just swap devices, they CANNOT says there customer service. I’ve only had 5 cases. Customer service and tech support is terrible!!!!! They do not help in resolving their malfunctions and that’s if you hit the lottery and speak with someone. It took me a week to speak with tech support. Switching my eld immediately! ### 1/5 — Complete Junk, TransFlo POS *2018-01-04, version 3.6.5* Do not buy this ELD device. I think the device itself may be ok, but it's functional dependency on this ridiculous app cripples it to the point of utter uselessness. It worked ok for a couple days, then it will not connect to the internet. And when I say worked "ok" I mean just the connectivity part. The experience through the app is terrible, difficult to edit, and just not put together or thought out very well in general. It should be a very simple, straightforward app that is quick and easy to use, this is far from that. I thought I would check the connection by using other features in the app such as the tutorial videos. They all load and play, fast and with no delay at all. Yet the log management part within the very same app says it can't complete a simple data transfer due to poor internet connectivity, even though it can seamlessly stream video with no issue, which of course requires much faster transfer speeds. I can't speak to the quality of customer support as I have not contacted them. With so many customers using this system and it still not working properly, that says all I need to know. I'll write this one off and try a different ELD. ### 1/5 — Connectivity issues/ data hog/ battery hog/ no support *2017-12-27, version 3.6.5* This eld is ok when it’s working, but when it wants to mess up you have data connectivity issues. It uses your phone data or it won’t work. It doesn’t just connect Bluetooth so you can use it. You have to setup an account and pay $30 a month before you can do anything. After doing all of that it tell me my vehicle is not supported. Getting in contact with anyone is impossible. It’s terrible in every way. *2021-09-13, version 4.2.3* Hard to install, worst most backwards user interface I’ve ever seen, took about an hour to get to the final set up step. Once getting the the app refuses to show me my HOS logs. Literally the only reason anyone would buy a E-LOG is to see their logs. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t support Volvo *2021-08-09, version 4.2.3* Before I bought this I looked everywhere to see what vehicles this supports. No info. I still can’t see anywhere what vehicles it supports. You also don’t find out whether it supports your truck until after you sign up for the monthly payment. This is a joke. ### 1/5 — Horrible service *2020-10-05, version 4.1.12* So I made the change from Rand McNally to TRANSFLO. Easy install and set up but continued to show I was driving when I was parked and engine was turned off. After less than a month I called them and told them to cancel, I am going back to Rand McNally. This was on June 11th. Today is October the 5th and still being charged after calling, writing and emailing multiple times. I finally am having to get a lawyer involved for refund of past months and to get them to quit charging my bank account. ### 1/5 — HOS new refs not updated *2020-09-30, version 4.1.12* The new split sleeper berth rules are not updated. With this I’m extremely happy with this platform and am glad to see them working to save me time. I am a company driver and find the Transflo T-7 ELD to meet all the ELD needs for me and my company. I highly recommend it!
