Personally I think the laser boost needs a debuf. But I think that it will be too hard for other people, so I think of adding a cannon boost. It can kill enemies in vehicle mode. And that’s a powerful sentence. It would be really good if Budge didn’t promote all of their other games, and I really don’t like the in-app purchases thing. In their Rescue Bots games, you have to pay to get all the other bots once you reach the 3-bot missions! Basically these games are pay to win so they can try to make more money. Please, companies! Don’t promote your games with these pay-to-win ripoffs! Probably the best Budge game ever made! The levels are hard to beat, but it’s still a blast! I’ve been playing with my 5 year old son. I’ve currently got the mission, Double Double. It says to “Double your currency after a run.” I can find no way to do so and no help online. I’ve doubled the amount of currency during a run, but no luck. The shop option to pay to double your coins forever mentions that it doesn’t apply to coins earned watching ads. I’ve not seen any ads in this game that give you coins. How do we complete Double Double? **Developer response:** Hello! I’m trying to defeat sun storm and it is soooooooo hard. Please shorten the levels. Maybe save the 63,000 miles for the final boss. We compare our games we play that day and talk about our progress. The format of the game is very entertaining. Over the last few months, I have made it all the way to Megatron, as has he. Both my son and I discovered on both iPhone and iPad what seems like an error. When you defeat the tank version of Megatron and proceed to face the robot version, if your first Autobot dies and you sub in with another, you cannot move your Autobot and the game is basically frozen. At some point your Autobot dies and it asks again if you want to sub another in. The same pattern happens until you have nobody left. I assume this is unintended? If so, please fix! My son and I want to get the ultimate glory of beating Megatron! Thank you! **Developer response:** Oh no! But if there’s one thing that I don’t like is that it is so hard but other than that it’s an awesome game ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Megaton second battle round freezes and takes lives *2024-07-26* Once you get to the battle against Megatron and beat him in tank mode the next round freezes and takes your lives. We would be happy if you could share more information about this! ### 1/5 — Avoid *2023-06-27* The game is fine when you’re attempting to defeat the ‘bosses’ on the way to Megatron, although it makes it impossible to get through the levels without constantly spending money to upgrade the bots. However, once you reach the final level and try to defeat Megatron, it’s completely rigged and also glitches constantly. When trying to defeat him, he pauses when being led over mines so that his health bar doesn’t go down, the mines that usually have a beep countdown go off instantly at random to kill you and you’re hit with rockets before you’re able to even start moving when changing bots. You constantly have to call for ‘backup’ bots, costing you pink jewels, but there are so few to collect during the games that you have to buy them! It’s a complete con. Unfortunately, my 4 year old has needs, one of which is a need to finish and/or complete things. He would not be able to cope with leaving something unfinished, so I’ve no choice but to keep trying to complete an incompleteable game with him. Cheers for that! Avoid at all costs, complete con that is rigged. ### 1/5 — Rigged *2023-03-15* I got up to Acid Storm and every single time I drive in the desert I get cornered off by a rock or a row of spikes. I either have to chose between to crash into the rocks or the spikes and I always die. Mirage is almost maxed out too. I don’t want to sink anymore money into this game or play for who knows how long to upgrade the rest of the Autobots. Megatron can one shot your characters even if they are maxed out and each time he takes damage it’s probably 1/30 of his health or less. Just seems like a waste of time once you get to Megatron. Is there anything after that stage? ### 1/5 — Not well designed very glitchy and expensive *2022-11-12, version 2022.1.0* I play this game because my nephews are into transformers. I’ve spent over 50 dollars on crystals and coins to upgrade faster. Upgrading the weaker bots (all are max upgraded) was a waste of money as there is no improvement in their firepower or armor. The game will give you a laser for example that lasts 15 seconds. It often gives you two in a row. They do not last for 30 seconds. What’s most annoying are the glitches when you get to the final megatron( there are two). My pro max iphone is brand new and works perfectly. The whole game freezes and you can’t even see the autobot fighting. It has happened every time and it is infuriating especially after spending so much money on this game. Not a very well thought out or designed game in any way. The game is advertised as no ads after purchase but it is a lie. Half the Home Screen of the app is a banner of games from Budge. Then, while in game, the Budge mascot pops in with different other games to purchase. How is this not advertisement? Shame on you and F you for doing this! ### 1/5 — Entertaining but broken *2021-07-06* I enjoyed playing this game very much. Then it started to get a lot of errors. Now it has deleted all of my progress. I’m afraid I’ll never play it again because of that. I played it all the way to the end by buying coins because the game doesn’t progress until you buy coins to use your other lives. Then when you get to the helicopter Megatron the game freezes and crashes. DON’T EVEN BOTHER PLAYING!. Can play as Optimus, but i didnt get the in game currencies that were also displayed in the purchase-picture. If its “worth” that much purple credits and gold, actually and clearly label it “worth” (it still doesn’t make sense how a character can be worth some blue energy cubes, as cubes can be “wasted” in runs that end quickly) so much in-game currency/ies.
