For example, seeing Bonecrusher played, followed by some other troop, followed by Bonecrusher again. It seems like they also have an 8 card deck but apparently re-roll availability vs sequentially appearing like a human user. Not at all expected or intuitive. Notice I don’t say “fair” because it is a game after all 😃. However, there sis a natural expectation that either the “AI” plays by the same rules. ### 4/5 — An actual review from a person who probably plays this game too much to be this bad at it *2023-02-16, version 1.7.1* I really like this game! It has a strange balance to it, but everything seems to have an counter strategy. My biggest critiques are about the turrets and card levels. It wouldn't be so tedious to get to the game if we had an easier time collecting cards. My plebeian recommendations: 1: Make the shop rotate multiple times a day and cost way less O-13. 2: Get SOMETHING for playing a match even if it’s just a good chunk of ore. I just played 2 matches in a row that went in to “Tiebreaker” and got nothing for either of those really long, but also really fun matches. 3: Better loot boxes from daily missions. I’d like to see megas, but idk how balance works so yeah. 4: Ore-13 costs to upgrade become insane for the last few levels of a card. That would be fine but we cant really “farm” any currency so it feel like unless you win, you wont get to get stronger. ### 5/5 — Game feedback *2023-02-08, version 1.7.1* Hello, I recently subscribed to apple arcade and downloaded this game(transformers). I found the game to have very nice animations, great balance, and good playability. I really like this game. However, I have recently encountered a problem in I have a problem with the game. When I click the button “battle ” to match, it always searches for a few seconds and then returns to the main screen. This causes me to be unable to play against real players. I would like to know if this is a bug. ### 5/5 — Best game ever since clash Royale !!! *2023-01-30, version 1.7.1* I play this game basically every single day and absolutely love the fact that they have Optimus primal in the game and cheator !!! Leveling up is awesome and you don’t have to pay out of pocket for this game like crazy to level up they give you the adequate amount of power to level up your cards and have the nostalgia of getting all the old auto bots and deceptive cons and their voices make it so amazing when they drop in to the battle it’s just completely incredible and one of the best experiences ever as a gamer! ### 1/5 — Horrendous *2023-01-27, version 1.7.1* There are barely any strategies here. The game is extremely unbalanced!! If you like frustration in life then this is your game!!!! Once you reach 2500 points it is a hard struggle, because the opponent can land 4 squads for every only one of mine. It is obvious you will be defeated. Once you get to 3000 it is literally impossible to win, because now your opponent gets to land 8 units for every three of mine. This is where it gets completely impossible and super frustrating. Once I reached 3000 I have won twice out of 22 tries. Judging by the replies, the developers need to take responsibility and admit that they have work to do to improve the game instead of ridiculously worry about the stats. ### 5/5 — More Than Meets The Eye! *2023-01-24, version 1.7.1* This is a very good game, as it's the primary reason why I have an active Apple Arcade subscription. The game needs work, but the developers are cool. They seem to genuinely care about improving the game and respecting the history of Transformers. The game is quite faithful to the 1980s cartoon. Actually, it's even better. Optimus Prime and friends look great! Possibly better than ever. (I prefer the classic G1 style instead of the recent movies.) The major downside to this game is that it's Player-vs-Player combat (which is incredibly intense) but slowed down by frustrating level grinding. It's as if a pay-to-win game was force-fit into Apple Arcade's no in-app purchases environment. The end result is a lot of unnecessary and mindless tedium. I think the game could benefit from a cooperative mode and a PvE mode. I don't want to fight AGAINST my friends. I want to fight TOGETHER with my friends. The AI is the real enemy here. HA HA! 😄 At the top of the leaderboard, the computer battles are insane. Since there are not so many players at the top, the AI is a stopgap. Instead of mixing PvE and PvE, it really should be two separate modes. I look forward to watching this game grow. The updates are fairly regular and they usually add to the fun. Hopefully matchmaking is truly improved and more friendly play modes are added. ### 1/5 — Game becomes frustrating once you hit Champions League *2023-01-20, version 1.7* I am constantly matched against players that have higher level cards than me which makes it near impossible to win battles. If you can’t win battles, you don’t collect crates and that means you can’t level up your cards which then means that you can’t win battles. It’s a vicious cycle. My recommendation to the developer is to max out card levels to 9 for all players who reach Champions League, that way battles are SKILL BASED and not who has the better hand based on character level. Until then, this game is a frustrating mess and there is nothing more to see here once you reach Champions League. No incentive to keep on playing whatsoever. ### 3/5 — Fix OP characters and gems *2023-01-04, version 1.7* The last changes have caused 9 out of 10 players I face a day to just drop turrets and add chimera stone for an easy lazy tower hit . When I come to those players that start a game that way they are sure to do it 4-5 more times making a dull game. So eventually I stated to give them the lane and wait for better players. Same with having to face GRIMLOK 8 times a game. He’s so over powered so shouldn’t be available that easily and for that many times. You fixed the issue of unbalanced game play with walking characters with RATCHET down the lane unharmed. So you can figure this out as well.— —update: all that has happened is they added a robot Jedi and and even bigger OP CHARACTER that takes up half the board. No new levels. No balancing for OP characters. no fixing the laser turret nonsense. No where to go at upper levels. No changes in the game to make it worth continuing.—update: now there are overpowered suicide drones that show up in every game. It’s getting further away from Transformer vs Transformer strategic game play. A gorilla on a surfboard??? Ugh ### 5/5 — Balanced and fun *2022-12-24, version 1.6* Love this compared to Clash Royale and the pay to win approach. Started playing 30 days ago and have come back every single day since then. Love the explainer videos for each unit showing their strengths and weaknesses--makes it accessible for beginners. Feature Requests: a battle log of your win/loss history; and the ability to share the replay of your game or save a copy to analyze. More stats on your different decks. ### 3/5 — Engaging game until… *2022-11-22, version 1.6* Don’t make the mistake of leveling up past 3000 points too quickly. 3000 seems to be where most of the actual players play. Do whatever you can do to stay below that until you’ve improved your decks or you’ll find yourself in a position where you’re not strong enough to win any games, but you can’t get stronger without getting crates.
