Animations are smooth but for some reason whenever you move the background stutters and jerks. An excellent developer makes another excellent game. The character design, animation, voice acting, music, sound effects etc are all amazing. I love this game. The problems for me are the battle system and how new moves are added. The battle system is a blend of real-time combat and tactical combat. Real-time is straight forward but animations leave you vulnerable. When you go with the tactical, you route the path you walk and your move selection. The problem is your choices aren’t guaranteed to work. I don’t need to be playing an all powerful character, I ask that the system make sense. When you level up, you may be prompted to choose between to moves for your arsenal. You get to read a description that may not explain how you’ve improved. Also, those choices will modify something you already have but I haven’t seen the difference. The mysterious story will keep me playing.
