### 5/5 — An app for actual commuters

*2026-05-21*

Clean, fast, thoughtfully designed transit app that feels built by someone who actually uses public transport daily.

What impressed me most is the attention to detail — from live delay information and route planning to simple UX decisions that make commuting easier instead of more complicated.

The app feels refreshingly lightweight and privacy-conscious: no accounts, no ads, no unnecessary clutter. Just useful information presented clearly.

I also genuinely appreciate how actively the developer listens to feedback and continuously improves the experience. The release notes alone show the level of care and thought going into this app.

A fantastic everyday transit companion for Queensland commuters.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-15

• Train and ferry stops no longer disappear when zoomed out on the map
• Stops with no upcoming service now show the next scheduled departure — with a clearer message when there's nothing for 24+ hours
• Fixed departures not loading on certain stops
• Fixed an issue where the app could request a stop outside the visible area, causing pins to flicker

### 1.0.2 — 2026-06-15

Bug fixes
Sleek icons on base screen
fixes for train stops, next service for bus stops.
Updated colour scheme for train and ferry pins on the map.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-20

What's better in 1.0.1

Directions
• Journeys with a transfer — Directions now finds trips that need one bus-to-bus change through a busway or station (Roma Street, Cultural Centre, Indooroopilly, Carindale, Mt Gravatt and others). You'll see the wait time at the transfer point alongside the ride times.
• Pin a plan — Once you've picked a journey, tap the pin to keep it visible on the map. Walk to your stop, check nearby buses, then tap the banner to see the full plan again.
• Tap a stop name in a result to show it on the map.

Route Lookup
• Simpler keyboard — search by number with a quick numeric pad. F, M and N buttons sit right under the search box for ferry, Metro and NightLink routes.
• Train lines — all 12 SEQ rail lines listed by name (Cleveland, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Caboolture, Springfield, Redcliffe Peninsula, Sunshine Coast, Shorncliffe, Gold Coast, Airport, Doomben, Ferny Grove) with their brand colours.
• School routes — each match now shows the next scheduled departure of that school bus from the nearest stop.

Map
• Train stations switch to indigo pins so they don't blend with the red bus stops.

Settings
• New gear icon in the top-left of the map. One place for tile ordering, light / dark / system appearance, app version and the privacy policy.

Plus a stack of polish: consistent button styling across all sheets, more accurate journey-time ranking, a wider "stops you can walk to" net so suggestions stop missing the obvious nearby option.
