The last update removed all my pins & now DOESNT HAVE THE MAJORITY OF ROUTES! I hope someone can fix this ASAP so travel can once again be convenient & not a guessing game **Developer response:** Looks like it might be a bug. Please try deleting and re-installing the app. If that doesn't fix it, please email metrowatch@barumrho.com ### 3/5 — Great for tracking but... *2020-01-22* Great for tracking but for some reason the locations of each individual vehicle on the line (number + run) aren’t showing up any more. This was very helpful especially for those “bus fans” out there. ### 2/5 — Close but no cigar *2019-09-18* It’s often off by a couple of minutes. I use this whenever I need to use public transit in LA. ### 1/5 — Not useful for finding metro trains *2018-04-30* I wanted to ride the LA metro train lines. This app either does not show metro trains or merges them with all the bus lines. Once I asked it to find route near me it locked onto the bus line and did not show the metro train station or lines that were one block away. I ultimately got help from street person. You can add routes but no way to tell which are train lines. You’d think with name like it would help with Metro trains ### 4/5 — So Far So Good *2017-10-11, version 3.0.3* Good App as the title implies ### 5/5 — Practical & fast *2016-09-06, version 2.2.1* I use this a lot for LA buses. Works accurately and is fast loading. ### 5/5 — Does what i need! *2016-06-27, version 2.2.1* First I'd like to address two reviews on this version: This is a Metro app, not a transportation app, Dash is owned by LADOT which is a different company. It is understandable about the rail lines though. As for the negative comment, no idea what your problem is if you don't explain it in your review. For it to work underground, its not up to the app but to your service provider. For the most part it wont work underground as signal doesnt reach there Now for myself, the app is great, im able to pin my favorite stops and check them in my notification center! It also allows me to see a route and shows me almost-live location of the busses. It tells you how long for the next few buses and the time for the next bus arriving. ### 1/5 — Metro watch? *2016-05-18, version 2.2.1* Incredibly user UNfriendly. So far I'm hating it. I thought paying to have the ads removed would remedy the issue, but no… it doesn’t show anything on the app whatsoever. And I just found that when looking at the reviews for this app, many positive ones were at the top of the page… but when I sorted to the most recent, many said it wasn’t working. Should have looked in the first place. What a waste of money and time. Those brochures should have been removed from the buses. I even paid to have the ads removed to support the dev. Since the start of 2022 it has been completed off with the arrival times. I've messaged the dev and they are even responding. It “tracks” where the buses are supposed to be, not where they are. I don’t think MTA has gps on its buses. And if they do, they’re too embarrassed to share because it will reveals how fundamentally deplorable this bus system truly is. MTA causes me to be late almost every day. The fact of MTA is an argument against public transportation. It’s a total shame. **Developer response:** I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Metro Watch. The app uses data provided by the MTA but it is not affiliated with it. Unfortunately, there is not much that I can do about the accuracy of data provided on the app. If you would like MTA to know about these issues, please report to them directly. Eventually, the NextBus app was updated. It became useless. I then searched for other apps and found METRO app. METRO app is excellent in so many ways. The layout and functionality of the app works well.
