it translates for you but you get only a minimum of I think 5 translations. After that it makes u pay and upgrade. don’t reccomend unless ur rich or wanna pay

I love Hola Translator but I wish it could be placed anywhere I want on my desktop.

Une fois installer, une petite vidéo pour te dire que le produit est super. On te demande d’autoriser les permissions par ci, et puis par là et bout du compte on te demande de payer. Quel désillusion !

Have been using for 2 years both on my MacBook and IOS devices.  App frequently has to have the purchase restored and more annoying is that it hijacks the screen asking for payment.  I will say the developers are responsive but this flaw is annoying.  Also, sometimes works quickly and other times requires multiple tries.  Overall, it is a good option but the flaws detract a lot from the function

..es gibt nur Monats-oder Jahresabo, kein Lifetime. Zudem kein Dark Mode. Und auch Safari fehlt hier- kein Vergleich zu Mac-Version.

I opted for a 3 day trial to try this app and it was super clunky when using it on safari. It still basically required you to copy and paste the text, which is difficult on a website written in a different language. 

Since it wasn’t what I expected, I cancelled the trial and removed the app/extension. They still charged me for a full year.

I started my subscription, and when I tried to translate a website, it brought me to the subscription page again with bugged buttons. I am certain my subscription is active as I can see it in my settings. Please fix your app. This happened on iPhone.

Let us know BEFORE we download that you’re going to hit us with a subscription charge. I only need to use this during the one time a year I have to do my taxes, as the stupid tax website only works on Safari where Google Translate won’t work.

Update: Well, today even though I paid for all premium features, and I truly thought this app was going to be one of my main apps installed on my Mac, the latest update has been a nightmare. I am able to use it one time, after that there is no way to go back to the main screen. I literally use the Activity Monitor to be able to force quit the app. It’s that bad. With pain in my heart, because it was a really good app, today I am uninstalling it and forget about it. It is useless now. I’m not exagerating. You can’t use it.                                          I’m not sure what transpired, but prior to the updates, the focus was on functionality and utility which was great for daily users requiring extensive translation services. However, after the update, they removed critical features like copy text, speech and execution functions. Essentially, they have simplified the app to only translation, eliminating the added benefits. Now, a third-party app is required to fulfill basic copy and paste necessities. It's quite disappointing.

This issue has been fixed in the latest update. The problem with the app getting stuck and requiring force quit, as well as the removed workflow actions, has been addressed and restored.

Please update to the newest version — the app should now work normally again with full navigation and functionality.

I use the app 4 to 8 times a week and it is perfect for communicating with new friends and doing business in the Republic of Panama the past half dozen years.  It would be a lot harder and expensive to live in any Spanish speaking country without it. Hola an unobtrusive, small, functional app that gets the job done.  Highly recommended.

하지만 제가 아는 한가지 버그가 있는데, 일부 웹사이트에서 텍스트를 입력한 뒤 내용을 저장하면 제일 밑에 'Copy {} Translate' 라는 텍스트가 함께 저장됩니다. 특히, Atlassian의 JIRA에서 문제가 됩니다. 이것만 고쳐지면 매우 훌륭한 플러그인이라고 할 수 있어요.

Ich habe die App schon lange verwendet, nach dem neuesten Update ging die Erweiterung in Safari nicht mehr. Das habe ich hier in den Rezension vor 2 Tagen mitgeteilt. Ich habe heute eine alter Version vom der TM mit abgeänderten Name in den Programmeordner geschoben und nach dem Öffnen des Safaris wurde ich gefragt, ob ich die Erweiterung aktivieren möchte. Und siehe da die alte und neue Version von Hola waren da. Ich habe die neue aktiviert und die alte wieder gelöscht. Danke.

The old version was the default setting, but why did it change in the updated version?

**Developer response:** For the hotkeys to work, the application must be running in the top menu bar for a long time. In the next update I will make the hotkeys in the browser work without the main application running.
