There are so many different languages to choose from that translating videos to your preferred language is very simple! However, I have noticed a few issues with this app from my experience that will hopefully be addressed in the near future! I would suggest moving the “New Video” button to the top of the screen either as a search bar or keeping it as a button. Most users who use YouTube are familiar with searching for new videos through the search bar on the top of the screen. Also, with this change in mind, I would also change the history and settings buttons into tabs on the bottom. I believe this will provide a cleaner layout. In addition, when you change the language in the settings, it should change the translation for the current video you’re watching immediately; The user should not be required to search for the video again for the translation to apply. Finally, this is the most important change, a full text transcript should be viewable from within the app itself.
