We correspond on a daily basis and I have used multiple translators. Translatium has been the most acccurate and sometimes is the only translator that translates a message so that it makes sense. I wish that it had a "back translation" function so that I could read how my message was translated before it was sent to my friend. But other than that, its a great app. Easy to ise. ### 4/5 — Works Well...For me Anyway *2023-11-29* Haven't tried all languages but for the ones I have used with others around the world there seems to be no big misunderstanding with what's being said using Translatium: Translator to communicate with. have used it mostly with Spanish, French, Germany, Dutch and Polish with little or no misunderstandings. If it works that well with all other languages supported, it definitely rates as the best translator app available for Mac/iOS and Windows. Have it on my Windows 10 computer as well but don't use that comuter much. Works the best of what translators I've tried so far. Think I'll be staying with this one. FYI: I never give highest rating for reviews. Only one entity rates the highest rating and He didn't make this or any app. Highest I give for anything 'man-made' is 4 or 9. That's it. ### 4/5 — Thankyou, but you might wanna fix this! *2023-10-06* I love this translater, don't get me wrong, but everytime it updates, the Translatium icon leaves my menu bar. It does appear there again if I click on the app tile, but I'm pretty sure this is not supposed to happen... Anyways, other than that - good work! :) ### 4/5 — Good translator *2023-08-17* The Japanese phonetic reading (romaji) being displayed is a nice touch, and the translations are good. Has nice features like audio and OCR, however the UI is a bit bloated. Would appreciate the option to view original and translated texts side by side to give more room for the text. ### 4/5 — Works Well for Me *2023-02-21, version 24.0.0* Have used this app for a while now with chats with folks from France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain with no problems noted and had very understandable chats. Tried with Hindi and it doesn’t translate to English well, if at all, even though Hindi is stated as one of the many languages it translates. Other than that, I’m rather satisfied with Translatium and what it does, for me. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a quick and easy to use translation app. ### 4/5 — Good but would neeed some more features *2022-09-27, version 20.4.0* This is good but please add number support ex. 11 translate to spanish ---> once instead of 11 translate to spanish---> 11. it would be confusing so why not add the feature and make it togglable ### 4/5 — Best Translator app so far *2022-08-21, version 20.4.0* I tried a number of translator apps. to translate from Bengali to English. I found them practically useless. Then I tried Translatium and used it to translate some sixty pages from my Bangla manuscript. It was not perfect but much better than all others. Of course, I had to edit the text, wherever necessary, to make that more acceptable. I am giving the app 4-star, hoping the author will perfect it to calim another star. ### 4/5 — Good, but not perfect. *2022-08-17, version 20.4.0* I like the fact that it is easy to use and provides multiple translations, something that the one that I've been using doesn't. However, it doesn't have the pronunciation for all of the languages. In Hebrew, for instance, if you speakinng icon, notheing happens. It also doesn't provide the vowels for the words, which makes it nearly impossible to know how to pronounce the word. My other translator provides it for some single words, but if you are trying to translate a sentence, it doesn't provide it. And since Hebrew is a consonant only alphabet (alefbet in Hebrew), it's like trying to learn English (nglsh) without the vowels. The dots and dashes in Hebrew were added to help a non-native speaker learn the language, but is not not used in reading material for native speakers. Provide this additional assist and I would change my rating to five stars. Update: As of today, I can't get it to translate. It spins and then I get an error message. I deleted it and reinstalled, but no go. I'm not sure what the problem is. It says no connection, even though the rest of my online searches and extensions are fine. How can I skip this step?" ### 5/5 — It’s been a year since my last review! *2023-07-10* Im still using “ Translatium” daily although I lost contact with my friend in China. I am studying Spanish and have a live online one on one class with a Teacher in Costa Rica and “ Translatium” helps my with homework and texting my Spanish friends. The changes I feel a lot of us would benefit from are: • Being able to write an entire letter or document in paragraphs instead of just words in a single row with commas. • I would also like to be able to change the Fronts to the style I refers to use and not what is pre- set. Other than that I am pleased with the “ Translatium App.” ### 5/5 — Very Acurate from English to Spanish and back *2023-06-28* However from English to Chiness and back it is off but I belive that's because of the much different written formate of the Chinesse language and not the app it's self. I am not fluent w/ Spanish, but this app has made a tremenddous difference in finding the right and most practical / effective word choices. The pronunciation feature is a godsend. This creation of yours is what I use almost everyday and am able to easily compose sample dialogs to utiliize in the field. Thanks for your efforts !! ### 5/5 — Complete success with Dutch cooking directions! *2023-03-14* I recently vacationed in Aruba and bought a powdered quesadilla mix. I ended up not using it in Aruba so I brought it home. As I was preparing to cook dinner I looked at the directions on the packet and saw they were in Dutch. So, I downloaded and installed Translatiuum, typed in the Dutch cooking instructions and Voila! (OK, that's French, not Dutch) I had perfectly clear instructions in English.
