The translation leaves a lot of confusion from English to Spanish and the key layout is unforgiving. One pixel away and it types another letter. Also- I HATE that it doesn't support the microphone. Finally it's a bit of a pain to switch between keyboards. The concept is nice and it is certainly better than switching back and fourth. I hate it when you pay for something and are not happy with it and I did that for this keyboard. Ah well. I have never seen a keyboard harder to tap on. The keys are absolutely tiny, make mistake after mistake, and the overall interface seems like something out of another decade. I do have something good to say, however, which is my contentment with the translations themselves. You guys are on the right track but the app needs a major overhaul: ugly colors, terrible keyboard, and overly sensitive keys due to small size. ### 3/5 — No reverse translation *2015-08-05, version 1.1* Very good app but lack the ability to copy and paste text to reverse translate. Every time have to select Chinese language. ### 4/5 — Great app *2014-11-09, version 1.1* This is a very useful app. Clearly it only provides machine translation (MT) and the limitations of that are obvious, but the developer has provided access to the MT in a flexible, handy app. I like the way it works except for the number of keystrokes required to swap between languages. After swiping to change the language pair, the current pair is shown at the top of the list (e.g. English => Italian) and if you could just touch the arrow to reverse it (e.g. Italian => English) it would make the Translator Keyboard a lot more user friendly and fast to use in practice. I find that I need to swap the direction between the same two languages far more frequently than to change between different language pairs. ### 3/5 — Finally no more swapping between apps! *2014-11-02, version 1.1* I just wish the keyboard replicated the iOS one more, especially on iPad. I have to change my typing all the time :-( Also it's a little slow at times. The keystroke response is a lot faster now too since the update. The delevloper is responsive and takes a keen interest in what we as users wish to see. So an easy 5 STARS! If the Keyboard does work. If it isn't go to Settings> General> Keyboard> Keyboards> Translator Keyboard, then press the little arrow on the right of that and check "Allow full access" as this isn't prompted automatically like other permissions. ### 5/5 — Huge Time Saver! *2014-10-30, version 1.1* This app is a huge, huge time saver! Here's what the process looked like before I used Translator Keyboard: BEFORE -Exit app I'm currently using -Open Google Translate -Type text that I need translated -Copy translated text, and exit Google Translate -Open app I was working on before -Paste translated text AFTER (Using Translator Keyboard) -Type text in Translator Keyboard that I want to translate (works in any app, do you don't have to exit) -Watch text get translated into language of my choice -Done! When I first downloaded the app the keyboard keys weren't very accurate and not very responsive. But with the latest update things seem to be much better. Works like a charm.
