Some of these aren’t the types that you see in family friendly apps. And I can’t hear it without paying. The only thing I’m happy about is that I can copy and paste. But I’m thinking if your looking for a free app without ads popping up every 10 seconds (I’m not exaggerating) then keep looking! Sorry if this wasn’t if you were looking for. So far, the voice recognition icon is not working, but if you start to type you can get to the iPad keyboard, then use that voice icon to speak a word. It did then correctly translate "thank you" but only showed the masculine word. When trying to translate a sentence, asked for a review. Turning elsewhere ### 1/5 — It’s a lie *2018-02-28, version 1.0* Issue 1: The app boasts about its offline translate ability but I’ve tested its offline capabilities and the app can not translate offline. Result 1: This makes the app unusable in any travel instances unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for roaming data for using the app. Issue 2: The app bribes the user to rate it 5 stars for a “free” pro upgrade when it doesn’t do what it advertises. Result 2: Making false ratings will make the translator app look as though it works to an appropriate standard when it doesn’t.
