HOW HARD IS IT TO TRACK THE LOCATION OF A BUS? some people a) don’t have their license for various reasons b) can’t afford to drive or c) it’s much better for the environment, and a lot of us can rely pretty heavily on an app like this for live updates in case things veer off schedule. but for crying out loud FIX IT TRANSLINK. ### 1/5 — Abysmal beyond description *2026-07-27, version 2.2.4* This app is about as bad as it gets, the design and usability plumb new depths manifesting in unusable mash of UI elements that fail to adhere to conceptual expectations and intuitive design constructs. All the average user like me wants is a list of real time departures at their local home or work bus stop. The app used to do that but now it requires you to program an entire trip, save trips etc. You need to do a masters degree to use the app. Whoever made this should be sacked and the app reverted to the previous one. ### 5/5 — Efficient & easy to use *2025-10-15, version 2.2.4* While I wasn’t too keen on having to download a completely seperate app after using the old TransLink app for so long, I am pretty happy with the upgrade. It’s easy to use and I find that locating where I am and finding the nearest stop is a lot more efficient than on the previous app. I’m really surprised by all of the negative reviews after using the app, it does the job and gets me from A to B. This app also allows you to follow your route a lot easier, as the old version was quite janky and difficult to follow.
