Die community Funktion finde ich auch super toll, da es damit die Möglichkeit gibt, anonym Feedback von anderen Übenden zu bekommen. Die KI Funktion verstehe ich leider noch nicht ganz, mir ist nicht ganz klar, welche Parameter dafür genutzt werden. Eine bessere Erklärung in der App wäre toll. Zusätzlich wäre schön, wenn die App auch Gesangsstimmen analysieren könnte. TABLETS The app used to be a phone app blown up to fit, so a paragraph could arrive three times too big on a 13-inch iPad. Sizes now stop growing at phone proportions and the extra room is used as room: charts, dialogs and the reading column keep a sensible width and sit centred. All four orientations work, and the app follows the window, so Split View and Slide Over resize it live. It also opens at full size instead of a small floating window. PRACTICE • Choose what happens after you listen back to a clip: move on to the next phrase, or keep the current one so you can try it again. • The practice phrase now carries across the tools, so you can take one sentence from the Pitch Monitor to the Spectrum and compare like for like. • The pitch display setting finally changes what you see. Choose musical notes and the chart scale and both average badges are labelled in notes instead of hertz. The gridlines have not moved, so an older chart still lines up with a new one. PRIVACY • One consent question becomes three. Voice perception estimates, the chat and generated practice phrases are now separate switches, each saying what leaves your device and who processes it. You can allow the chat without allowing anything else, or the reverse. • Generating practice phrases asks first. It was the one feature that sent data off to be processed without ever mentioning it. • If you had the old single switch turned on, the app asks once what you meant by it. Nothing is assumed on your behalf, and nothing changes until you answer. COMMUNITY • The vote result bar has been redesigned. People were reading the old gradient as the verdict when it was only the scale. The scale is now a plain grey rail and only your own result carries colour: the band is how far apart the votes were, the dot is the average, and it stays hollow until ten people have voted. • A switch turns the bars into columns, one per possible answer. Your choice is saved to your account and follows you into the web app. ALSO FIXED Review clips no longer shows an error screen after a session. A session can no longer come back from the background still saying it is recording while nothing is being captured. The intro carousel showed all three slides side by side on a tablet instead of one at a time. Now they also show the range your voice moved through, so you can tell a steady clip from a wobbly one at a glance. Two clips can share the same average and sound nothing alike. CLIP DETAILS Open a clip, tap the three-dot menu and choose Clip details. The recording, its pitch curve and its numbers are now on one screen: - Play it back and scrub through the waveform - See your pitch over time, with your target range shaded behind it and the stretches that fell outside it dimmed - Drag along the curve to jump to any moment - Average pitch, pitch range, stability, how much of the clip landed inside your target range, length and when you recorded it - The automatic impression estimate, in one place with everything else YOUR TARGET RANGE, NOT A FIXED ONE The pitch chart now shades the range you set in Settings instead of a fixed band, everywhere it appears, including the session history you reach from Home, Profile and Community. Nothing to re-record: clips you made before this update already have all the new numbers. ### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-05 Version 1.3.0 This update is mostly about the practice tools. Long sessions can now be replayed from start to finish, the live charts move more smoothly and use less battery. NEW - "Play all" now replays your entire session, not just the last part of it. Longer recordings are captured in segments while you practise and joined back together for playback. - Drag the pitch history back during a session to look at what you just did, without stopping. - Voting now includes an optional naturalness rating alongside the masculine to feminine scale. It is never required, so you can still vote on gender alone. - Your own submissions show naturalness results next to the gender results, on the same scale. - The community tab and the recording screens show how many submissions you have left today and when the allowance resets. - New course lesson blocks: audio recorder, exhalation timer, free text field, file downloads, and clearer intro, completion and exercise sections. IMPROVED - Pitch, loudness and spectrum are drawn on a fixed time base, so the line moves at a steady speed on every device instead of speeding up or stuttering. - The charts no longer redraw the whole screen for every measurement, which noticeably reduces battery use and heat during longer sessions. - Voting, skipping or reporting a clip no longer reloads the whole queue, so the next clip appears immediately. - The course overview and lesson pages were reworked around the new blocks. FIXED - Quiet passages and syllable boundaries no longer drop out of the line mid sentence. - The position marker no longer flickers or jumps at the start and end of a replay. - The chart no longer shifts position after a replay finishes or when a new segment starts. - Fixed a slowdown that built up from around two minutes into a session. - Audio recorded across a microphone or headset change is no longer lost. - Long recordings no longer produce duplicate or missing segments. - A temporary connection problem or rate limit no longer looks like being signed out.
