It starts to talk to itself at some point and it gets annoying, but I’m trying to talk to other people. In a large assembly, the iPhone microphone may pick up nearby audience voices more strongly than the main speaker, even when the room audio sounds loud. Please try placing the device closer to the speaker or room audio source. Using an external or directional microphone may also help in large rooms.
