The app is completely garbage with that. It won’t even allow me to sign in with my DIRECTV stream at all. I go to their link site that it tells you to go to the TravelChannel.com/link and I type in the code they give me a select my TV provider I go to sign in. It just won’t allow me to sign in whatsoever. Used to be a good of the discovery stuff no now I can’t even sign into half of them. I was just barely able to get into the history app, but I can’t get into travel. I can’t get into IDGO so I give it 1 star since this issue won’t let me even sign in with my provider honestly they don’t deserve any stars with this garbage log in issue they constantly have ### 1/5 — Where are the new seasons? *2024-01-31, version 8.37.0* Where are the new season of Kindred Spirits and Ghost Hunters? ### 1/5 — Need to get rid of advertisement *2023-03-08, version 8.19.0* I’m so tired of advertisement on this travel channel app. Some 2 minutes and 3 minutes of advertisement. I looked for answers on internet say “how to get rid of advertisement on travel channel app” but it didn’t help me find answers on the internet cause there are lots of “travel channel app” on tv, amazon prime, and etc. But no answer for advertisement at all. I need to find a way to get rid of advertisement on travel channel app. Like I did get rid of it on Hulu and YouTube. ONLY THEY ARE. I keep getting boiler-plate emails in response from so-called support that all I have to do is unlink and relink my provider and this will fix everything. IT DOES NOT FIX IT. I have directv and they said it’s on the developers end and not the directv end. This is also a problem with all the other discovery channel networks, doesn’t recognize TV Provider. You watch maybe three minutes of a show when the buffering starts. When you do get it to play again it starts over or you get ad after ad. You need to view a 3 minute commercial and if you stopped it on the casting and went back to your iPad there is another commercial again.
