Upgraded now useless *2026-06-02, version 5.2.0* I have been using this app and recommending it to my clients, since it first came out. Earlier this month my in app advised of a new plane fee from $11.99 to $39.99. Begrudgingly I accepted and the increase was charged. Now the app will not work at all says I have used all 8 of my trials (interestingly I have never used the trial version). No response from support. I have the latest version installed. I have asked for a refund. ### 3/5 — Crash *2026-04-29* When I open the app crashes every single time. I have a lot of saved trips on here and I cannot use the app for work right now. We can assist you in getting it working again. ### 2/5 — Not worth the price *2025-06-11, version 4.7.3* Getting a price increase of well over 100%. This app is not worth it anymore. Most of the time the trips does not auto start, lately after the updates it is even worse and a new issue is getting your location. I Will be look for something else. ### 4/5 — Mostly good with some strangeness *2019-09-17* The app works relatively well logging trips based on Bluetooth car connections. Sometimes misses the start when the car is already running before the app is started and sometimes misses the end. Even though you can set places they don’t tag to the location and there is a strange requirement to nominate a driver to the location even when the location is an office. Als strange that you have to nominate a driver for a vehicle even where vehicles are driven by multiple people. Adding in journeys manually does not allow you to select one of the locations you create in the app so the purpose of the places is lost on me In its current state it is not usable in my circumstance ### 2/5 — Moyen *2019-07-19* Le nom de la destination devrait pouvoir être mémoire et réapparaître quand nous la sélectionnons de nouveau ### 4/5 — Good but *2019-06-15* Good app but if the watch side of things worked all the time would of been 5 star. You can start a trip using Apple Watch but it can take multiple taps for it to react. Then when trip is finished pressing end on the watch does not always respond. Error appears in app for that trip, so you then have to enter details of trip manually. ### 2/5 — Sharing *2019-06-10* App states it can be shared between up to 6 family members however it will not allow my husband to load it without also purchasing it. As this is being used for a business with multiple vehicles and drivers this is quite disappointing - it was one of the main reasons we settled on this app. ### 5/5 — Great app *2019-03-13* It’s super easy to navigate and I love that you can put places in that it stops automatically!! ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2018-09-19* I found it difficult to use, and unnecessary complicated ... now I find out I have paid another annual subscription because my attempt to cancel it obviously failed ... very disappointed and still have not been able to cancel my subscription ### 4/5 — Good but could be better *2018-09-16* There are two improvements that would make this app great. #1 It constantly overestimates distance travelled, so I always have to update the reading. It would be great if it could work out how much to scale back the reading based on my corrections. #2 It does not have CarPlay support. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We can most certainly look into these features to further improve on Travel Logs. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Promising app let down by poor support *2026-05-07* Promising app let down by poor support Downloaded the trial on 12 April 2026 and it worked perfectly, so I upgraded to a full subscription. After paying, the app stopped working correctly — automatic trip detection failed entirely. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but the only way to log trips was to manually configure each one, defeating the purpose of the app. I attempted to contact support multiple times and received no response whatsoever. It's a shame, because the core functionality showed real promise. Unfortunately, without any support to resolve the issue, I've had no choice but to switch to Driversnote. Would not recommend until their support improves. **Developer response:** Hi, we have fixed this issue in v5.0.10. Thank you. ### 1/5 — app not working *2025-07-26, version 5.0.1* urgently need support app is not working , frozen after new update ### 1/5 — Functionally Abandoned? *2023-07-20* This app has a range of odd bugs and behaviors which are never repaired, and seems to decline over time. It has recently stopped automatically completing trips despite having access to location data and background app refresh. Find something current to invest money on. If the developer cannot be bothered to actually support their app, they should be clear about that, instead of leaving a degrading app in the App Store requesting a subscription fee. ### 1/5 — The worst app ever *2023-04-18, version 4.6.4* This is a waist of time. The worst app I have ever come across Its not user-friendly, It is unable to do what you need it for when you need your travel logs to be recorded It just takes space and wants loads of money to be paid for nothing ### 1/5 — Can’t get it to work with Bluetooth *2022-05-02* Chose this app because it said it would start/stop trips when it detected a Bluetooth connection to the car. Tried multiple times today with no luck so giving up - maybe I’m doing something wrong but I need something easy to work out that saves me time. Couldn’t manage to get data downloaded and doesn’t track multiple trips in the one day we’ll. At the end of 3 months I’ll have to go though my calendar and correct all the mistakes, and then cancel the subscription - hope that works! ### 1/5 — I will not purchase any app that requires a subscription. *2019-07-01* I use both Calendar 365 and Pocket Cash. Pocket Cash is no longer supported. The company policy to change their apps to subscription based is a bad decision. Good apps but I was spending over $300.00 a month for subscriptions, dropped them all and won’t do it again. I’d rather pay more for an app and own it outright! Bad move guys! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great logging App *2026-08-18* I’ve been using the app for 10+ years without problems. I stopped for a few months (not driving much) & there have been substantial updates. When I opened the app Friday evening I was having issues with my old info uploading. Emailed support at something like 9pm on a Friday night. To my surprise I managed to have several back and forth troubleshooting emails until midnight when I went to bed. I had more emails over the weekend and at that stage i was blown away by the friendly service and dedication to trying to fix the problem. I’ve now been informed my issue will be fixed in the next update. ### 5/5 — Best Logbook app with better customer service *2026-03-12, version 5.0.6* There isn't another app better than this one that I could find to use. I travel for work and rely on accurate logbook, automatic recording and minimal interaction to get it done. Customer service and professionalism from App developers far beyond any experience I've had - fantastic job! Well worth R14,99 pm, as it automatically opens and closes mileage at every stop.
