For example “work trip” that I would set up ahead of time and any time I add that category, it contains work badge, laptop, charger, etc. ### 3/5 — Useful but some small tweaks to make standout *2025-12-03* Love this ap - even paid for the premium as I love a one off small fee VS a subscription. But a couple things that would make it more user friendly and faster to use - No forced location and date (doesn’t really matter). Easier way to delete items. Eg swipe to delete. Currently too many clicks. Way to reorder categories. Otherwise great start - hopefully see more updates soon. ### 2/5 — Not much functionality *2025-06-19* I’m using it for this trip but I think I’d be happier with paper and pencil. Using the free version now, but I’m not sure the paid version would fix any of my concerns. 1-it really needs an item counter so you can indicate how many of something you want to pack without having to write it as part of the list (5 shirts). 2-The ability to collapse a category when you aren’t actively using it would make the list so much easier to navigate. 3-When you check an item off, I wish it went to a different “checked off” section so that the list becomes easier to read. As it is, there is just a check mark next to the item, which leaves the list looking just as full as before. This is really one of the main benefits of an electronic list over paper. 4-The ability to drag categories into your own arrangement would be nice, but is not absolutely essential if collapsing the categories was an option. Was so frustrating. I won’t be recreating them on this app as I don’t want to lose all of the information again! ### 2/5 — So so *2024-12-27* The app is great. Except for one major flaw. You can’t easily uncheck the items in your lists. You have to click on every single one. Sure you can duplicate the list, but that also duplicates all the previously checks items. It’s very frustrating when trying to reuse your lists. ### 3/5 — It’s OK *2024-12-24* It’s not a bad app, but it’s not for me. It seems geared towards people that do a few trips a year and different enough trips that each packing list is completely different. You can’t create a master list or a “business trip list” to reuse. You have to put a start and end date. I travel a ton for work and my packing lists are “3 days cold”, “3 days warm”, “7 days international” etc. it would be great if I could have default lists with categories to choose from that have already defined items. I ended up creating an Apple Shortcut that fits my needs fine. ### 2/5 — I wish *2024-07-11, version 1.3.6* Over the couple of years of trying to use this app, I’ve been hoping for upgrades. It’s a good start but there’s so much room for improvement and I was hoping for. ### 4/5 — Add button confusion *2024-03-18* When you have a dark button on the right side, it implies that that is the next action that you need to perform. So I get hung up every time I want to add something and then it tells me I have to go back and type something first. to help with this confusion. Make that add button disabled until something is typed in the text field. Also, it would be nice to add multiples of the same object. For example, when I’m packing for a trip that is seven days, I would rather add “socks“ and then dial up a counter to seven. Rather than adding socks seven times, or having to type “seven pairs of socks”. ### 4/5 — Easy planning *2024-02-17, version 1.3.6* The apps great. Very easy to use and I like the countdown. I only wish you could do multiple destinations for one trip, like when you go on a cruise. Other than that I’m really liking the app. ### 4/5 — A couple more tweaks please *2024-02-02* This app is great but it would be even better if you could delete travellers from your profile if you no longer need them and also be able to reorder the categories in a particular list. You can reorder the items in a list but not move the categories so they are in a sensible order. For example, I want to share my lists across devices, but when I press the “get help” button it prompts me to put an email address in settings…but there’s no place to enter an email address in settings. ### 4/5 — Good app but not what I thought *2023-10-02* This app is really good, it has a lot of great features but when I downloaded it I thought you could collaborate on this app and lists with other people that have also downloaded this app. I bought the pro version and also bought it for another person thinking we could both add to the list and each see what each other had added and packed. I was sad to realize that is not a feature on this app. That was pretty much the big deciding factor of downloading and upgrading this app. This would be a great feature for you to add. ### 4/5 — Nice little app! *2023-08-26* In general, I like this app. I love that it has the trip countdown. I also really like that sharing a list does not require people to have the app. (That feature helps with my 80-year old technology challenged Mom!) That being said, for me to get rid of paper & provide a 5-star review, there are a few things I would like to see: - ability to sync across devices so I can fill in a Master List on a larger screen. - ability to share the list and have it dynamically updated by others. (Shared in real time) - the ability to share the list and add a “due date” to make sure that something is packed. (I can enter “10 days before trip” and it calculates that for me would be a bonus!) - the ability to create a sublist for organization. So I could create a master list item of “carryon”, a sublist item of “essential medications” then add the medications that I need to pack. Or I could pack a “car”, “backseat” etc. it helps to be visual in not only what you want to pack but how to arrange the packing. That would allow me to eliminate paper! It puts the entire list onto one page, so if you have a long list, the print is microscopic. I spent an extensive amount of time planning out a list for a significant trip, while under the impression that I would have the ability to print it (which I'm supposed to have). I'm highly annoyed that I paid for this app, and I'm deleting it shortly. I'd give this app 4 or 5 stars if you could rearrange categories. So, after entering everything starting with Day 1 through Day 10, the completed list started with Day 10 at the top and ended with Day 1 at the bottom with no way to change it. Being in Europe for the first time, I needed things to be quick and easy for me as I was constantly on the go. Man erstellt eine Liste für ein Reiseziel und einen Reisezeitraum. Kategorien sind selbst festzulegen und können mit Begriffen gefüllt werden. Man kann alles nachträglich bearbeiten und verschieben. Dabei ist die Bedienung total intuitiv. Schade ist, dass man in der kostenlosen Version nicht die Möglichkeit hat, die Packliste zu duplizieren, wodurch diese nach der Reise nicht erneut zu verwenden ist. Praktisch wäre es, zu bestimmten Themen (also z.B. „Flugreise ans Meer“ oder „Wandern im Herbst“) fertige Listen auswählen und bearbeiten zu können. Das kann man sich bei der Pro-Version aber selbst anlegen, indem man sich eine Packliste dupliziert und den Zeitraum ändert. I didn’t need a bunch of pre-populated items suggested for me to pack (birth control pills, really?) — I just wanted a clean space where I could make a few categories for the activities I’d be doing on my trip and the items I would need to pack for them & a way to check them off. I love that you can assign yourself or someone else to pack the item and while I haven’t shared a list yet, I know I will as I plan future summer camping trips. I’ve just used the app for one trip so far, but I travel often & I will definitely be paying for the upgrade to show my appreciation! One question I ran into — is it possible to rearrange the order of your categories once you’ve typed them in? I have found that I can alphabetize my items in each category, but haven’t seen a way to move around the categories. It would be a great feature to be able to drag and drop the categories in an order that makes sense to you— for example, if I have a category for each activity I am going to do on an adventure type trip, I would list them in the order they would be happening.
