User friendly, quick, easy to get to where you needed to be or find what you needed to find. It’s now awful. I understand Travel Republic were recently taken over by a Spanish holiday company and assume the new platform is a result of that. Whatever the reason it’s gone from 10/10 to 1/10. Dreadful. ### 1/5 — UNUSABLE. What an awful update *2026-04-27, version 6.0.0* This app is unusable, you can’t filter by TOTAL PRICE can’t even see it. They expect you to select each holiday individually. What matrix are you tracking? These can’t be managed in the App anymore - there is just a link to a web browser instead. What use is an App if it no longer services your existing customers….? ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-01-10, version 5.40.5* No pictures will load ### 1/5 — Transfers *2025-06-23, version 5.34.6* What a shame - recommended by friends - arrived Heraklion Crete June 2025 and desk 10 we were advised to go to for our transfer to resort shut down! There are no reps to help that’s why it’s cheaper as an on line agent - phoned through to emergency number in resort Alex cut me off twice - nice PR Alex ! Spoke to other open desks and told Hoppa a Dutch company owed so much money to other transfer agents none will deal with them now and Hoppa’s services delegated to other agents. So we were on our own late at night as two pensioners. After trying every desk (1 1/2 hours later ) we found our chap who had the cheek to say I’ve been looking for you - how comes that when he doesn’t know what we look like! He was chatting to his taxi friends - so we were put in a private taxi - thank s for that. So we emailed TR to ask what’s gone on I have been responded to but with no answers as to why it happened. We were anxious about our return but was absolutely assured I would get a text message or wassup message to tell me what time and where 12-16 hours before departure. Nothing ! Zilch ! Not a word ! Even though we sat up till 1 am in the morning waiting because my trust had gone I pre booked our own taxi back to airport. I have been informed to send receipt which I have emailed photograph through. I have not been kept upto date with why and what happened and how I will receive my taxi money back. On hindsight if you want peace of mind book with a large tour operator - those with reps at the airport and resorts - otherwise guys your on your own! Thanks TR for making my holiday not so good as we were anxious - although our accommodation and flight was excellent. Unbeatable prices compared to Jet2, Lastminute and Loveholidays. Customer service are super friendly, helpful and professional, apart from the odd handler who obviously is there to collect a pay check. Easy to book, easy to arrange payment schedules/methods. Bad points: app interface could be smoother, less confusing cost breakdown i.e; flights = , insurance = … to this date I don’t know the breakdown and one of our flights were cancelled so I don’t even know if we were overcharged for the new flights. That said, I’ve given a 5* review on the basis that TR has access to resorts and hotels that are otherwise fully booked directly and the amazing prices with comprehensive deals. The other group we flew with they paid £520pp for their stay, we paid £290pp with the emission of breakfast and the pool parties. ### 5/5 — Simple *2020-03-03, version 5.11* Could imagine booking a holiday or any travel without trying travel republic, it’s so easy once you’ve tried it once you’ll see for yourself. ### 5/5 — Best Holiday App and agent *2020-01-27, version 5.11* Always best for price and extras thrown in for free with certain hotels. Never had a problem with the app or travel republic themselves. Done short and long flight holidays as a package and individually.
