## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Poor screen formatting

*2022-08-07*

Can’t read many of the countries. Text cut off and changing screen mode doesn’t do anything.

### 3/5 — Dark mode

*2020-01-28*

App is great until dark mode activates...dark mode blacks out all writings nothing is seen unless you turn off dark mode on your device!
Iphone 7 and ipad 4 with IOS 13.3

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review - the app has been updated to support dark mode , enjoy !

### 3/5 — Somewhat Helpful

*2019-11-15*

It’s nice to see how safe/dangerous certain places are but would like to be able to search up places

**Developer response:** That is for your review - you can now search for countries and topics.

### 4/5 — useful!

*2021-07-17*

first, thank you for this app and for your privacy policy especially around data collection. it is nearly impossible to find a free service without the mandatory collection of identifiable and unidentifiable information even when unnecessary for the service offered. now onto the app, the information provided is thorough and instructions for next steps/where to get more information are clear. the dedicated section for covid-related risk by country is a smart move. the search bar at the top of each section helps with not being required to scroll through to a specific country.

i do wish that: 1) there was a way to filter the information by date of update, risk level, alphabetically by country, and by region of the world (listed in order of importance); 2) there are clickable links to references listed for further information (e.g. US embassy, traveler’s checklist, STEP, etc) even if it takes me out of the app and into an external browser. and if this were the case, it would be appreciated if, when reopening the TravelGard app, i’m taken back to the place where i left off. the links could live in its own tab/section where all references can be found.

again thank you for this app!

### 4/5 — Question & Perhaps Feedback

*2021-06-24*

(First I’d like to mention that I wanted to contact you but it kept saying “failed to send message please try later or contact administrator another way” 🤨but there is no other way to contact you by email)
Feedback with Questions:
Is there a way to filter the results so it’s not Every country in the world it’s just a certain state or the US or president to get alerts for specific locations that I plan to go like South Africa? I mention this because I keep forgetting I actually have this app because it doesn’t alert me .. it doesn’t even ask for notification permission only cellular permission can you explain why this is?Maybe I’m not using the app to its fullest potential or is the app not at its fullest potential?
Review:
It’s possible that my rating is too high but content is good deliver not as good

### 5/5 — Updates

*2021-12-02*

It would be nice to updates information is out of date.
