The staff was great. As for the room… dirty and not kept up. No hot water in sink, shower had hot water but was dirty. Toilet ran a lot. Phone did not work (cord fell out of handset). Mattress very uncomfortable. Lounge chairs by pool were all broken. So if you choose this Motel be warned. Served its purpose but not for people who like nice clean accommodations. ### 2/5 — Flight Issues *2026-07-30, version 2026.29* We recently booked air travel through Travelocity. The initial process went smoothly. Unfortunately, after that things went downhill. Shortly after making our reservation, we realized that we needed to move our return date up a few days. So, I contacted customer service via email - because there’s no live person to speak to. We went back and forth, but we were finally able to make the change. There were no changes made to our departure. Here’s the problem- we show up at the airport for our departure flight and find out that the customer service rep. had cancelled our flight. We had a confirmation number and everything, but we were no longer on the flight! After an hour, I was still texting customer service trying to get on another flight without success. I asked the rep to call me, so we could talk through it. He wouldn’t call me. Finally, the airline agent got fed up and took my phone. She texted back and forth with the guy for at least 20 minutes. She ended up getting us booked on a later flight and then moved us to the next, earlier, flight out. From now on, I will make flight reservations directly with the airline. ### 5/5 — LePraydey Paris *2026-07-26, version 2026.29* The hotel was certainly more than we expected… located 1 block from Louvre… many nearby restaurants and cafes… the staff was accommodating and extremely professional. It never was a misunderstanding at the airport once I got there. From the purchase that I made with Travelocity and they always help me find things to do when I’m in a different. My daughter and I booked a hotel in OBX. We got delayed and showed up late. We couldn’t get in a room. It took Travelocity over two hours to correct the error. Two hours and every communication gave the impression that they thought we were lying or somehow wrong. Once it finally was resolved they continued to make it seem as if we did something wrong. Use Booking instead. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2026-08-29, version 2026.34* Hands down the most useless travel agency I’ve ever used. Booked first class round trip tickets to Costa Rica. Got in late on a Monday with expectations of returning 7 days later on Sunday. On Friday of the trip I checked the app to let friends know which seats I had. No seats showed up. Called Travelocity and was told it was an app issue to delete and redownload. I followed instructions with no change. When I called back I was told American Airlines “must have changed the flight, they should have contacted you?”….well the rest of the story is simple. After multiple phone calls to Travelocity I ended up calling American directly to get a flight. It was confirmed Travelocity was in fact notified not once, but TWICE of the schedule change months earlier. I received no notifications of this at all. I ended up losing my first class tickets and then had to pay additional money (in economy) to sit with my wife on our flight home on SATURDAY. Travelocity said it is American Airlines fault and there is nothing they can or will do. I was assured on Friday that a manager would call by Sunday. As of Sunday evening no call, so I called back. Was told I was in the que and needed to wait for a call. I eventually called back Thursday evening. The manager that night was the first to confirm American Airlines did contact them and then told me I was sent multiple emails notifying me of the change. I asked him to forward those emails and he stated that wasn’t possible. He said I wouldn’t understand what he could send because it was all in code…at this point my blood pressure was high enough to warrant a trip to the ER so here we are. Lost vacation time, loss of first class tickets and I am out even more money just so my wife and I could sit together. Travelocity is unquestionably the most worthless company and has hands down the most useless customer service team I’ve ever spoke to in my life. Book directly with your airline. You don’t save money here, they don’t help in times of need, and they sure as hell don’t worry about making things better, even when it is 100% their mistake. They had one job in my case, update me regarding flight info. Got to our room and 10 mins into the room there was a bed bug running on the tv stand. I refused to stay we didn’t even unpack anything. But after several attempts to get ahold, filed a claim still haven’t heard from Travelocity and being they are 3 rd party the motel isn’t inclined to fix the situation. They are in compassionate, rude and unhelpful. I will pay a little extra and buy directly from the airlines but not deal with you guys. We booked through them and when we got to the rental place we were told that we can not drive the rental to our destination. That we had to have Travelocity transfer the reservation to Hertz. We called Travelocity and they said they couldn’t transfer the reservation and we were on our own. It’s crazy that they would allow us to book through a place that has restrictions and not ask us if we are traveling to one of the restricted states. I included R/T transport from the airport to the hotel. Even with a 6-hour rain delay, transportation at midnight was still there. Hotel was great and had no problems with my flight and my stay.
