Flight changes of over 23 hours with a refusal of a refund. Basically said, unlucky email the airline, it’s got nothing to do with us and we’re zero help. After being forced to accept the flight changes it still hasn’t updated on the App 3 days later. I’ve just tried to ring the urgent phone number as my check-in won’t work and other flight info hasn’t updated and it goes straight to a voicemail which then says ‘inbox full’. Please explain how that’s an urgent phone line ?? I was kept on hold for almost 1 hour just to speak with someone from customer support. And when the call was finally answered, the agent just said "hello" and then disconnected the callwithout any follow-up or callback. This kind of service is completely unacceptable, especially when customers are already stressed while dealing with travel-related issues. Wasting an hour of someone’s time and then abruptly hanging up is highly unprofessional. TravelUp really needs to improve their customer support standards. Save yourself money and hassle by booking directly. When the airline cancelled my flight, TravelUp failed to notify me and then refused to book me onto an alternative flight, despite there being many options available on the same airline. They have changed my ticket to a layeover of 9+hours due to middle east conflict. Eventhough my original flight is still available, when i am tring to book a Transit Accommodation. If you run into any issue, don’t expect any support. The customer service is terrible — their contact number does not work, and emails receive no response. Specially students as they have their hard earned money being put in it. So i had my sister book tickets for me and it got booked for a wrong day and i called then within 10 secs to just stop n cancel it. First it took me and hour and a half to reach them and then they tell me if it is generated it means you will be charge £75 and in addition to it a £25 which was service charged while booking. I called them within 10secs of realising and because it took and hour to reach them it got generated and i am charged a £100 for booking a £350 flight. I have had such incident earlier with other company and they were kind enough to not deduct a penny from it cz i made a call right away and these guys well. They have left a hole in my pocket because of which now i can no longer travel on the given date cz well i have to work ahifts in and out to be able to pay. Deleted my account with them and never booking any flight again even if it shows cheaper with these guys.
