Same thing happened with me they say they will get back to you within 48 hours and never will. They will completely waste your time and hotel prices by then has probably gone up. ### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Service *2024-10-31* I booked through Kayak who outsourced to Traveluro. I was booking through Kayak for a specific reason. CUSTOMER SERVICE. Most travel sites have terrible customer service and I am not surprised here. I booked the incorrect dates. Admittedly. But within minutes of doing this I called customer service to get help with correcting this. The entire purpose of non refundable no cancellation is to ensure hotels don’t get screwed and lose money. The policy is not in place to screw customers when an error has occurred. I did not even ask to cancel the reservation. I just asked to have the dates changed. Nope. Non amendable they say. So essentially they will screw you. Sure blame me for this. If you have any issue expect them to do as little as possible to help you. Expect to be screwed. I did not book a few months ago and try changing plans with a week remaining. I called within minutes of making the reservation. Now I’m out $500+. I missed my reservation by a day, right when I noticed after the booking I immediately called. It took 7 calls and a few hours for them to tell me they couldn’t change or cancel any bookings. I was cut off multiple times. When given all the options to book travel, just do yourself a favor and never book through this service. No customer support. I was on hold when I called customer service and hung up on several times before speaking with anyone. When I finally talked to a representative, I was insured that they had escalated the issue to their claims department and would refund me because of the circumstance. 2 days later, there was no refund or email from them, so I called back again only to be kept on hold and told they decided not to reimburse me. I wasn’t offered credit to rebook; they said no, sorry, and then hung up again. I called the hotel to let them know I couldn’t make the reservation, and they explained they hadn’t received the reservation and that this wasn’t the first time this had happened! Not ok! Everything went well until a week before the stay and they cancelled my booking due to ‘ technical issues ‘. The worst part is that they did not email me or notify me. When I called the hotel for something they said the booking was cancelled by travel euro. Had to contact them 4 times and finally they confirmed that the booking is cancelled and we cannot do anything for you at this time. By then the rates were like 50% more. HUGE RIP OFF AND A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst experience in 30 years of travel *2026-03-02, version 3.3.2* Ordered 2 hotel room from same hotel, separate transactions, verified 2 credit card charges. Many months later, went to hotel, they said we only had 1 hotel room. Found out Traveluro canceled one with 0 communication/notification. Getting a room that night would have cost 3x, tried to call Traveluro with no answer, luckily the hotel manager was understanding and great to work with. 6 months later received a email message from Traveluro stating the room was not refundable (not what I asked). I clarified the story, stating that’s not what I asked, they again replied saying the room was not refundable. 6 month response time and it seams they don’t even read messages. Would give them 0 or better a negative if I could. I travel every month for decades and have never experienced customer service this bad. ### 1/5 — No room on arrival *2025-11-01, version 2.1.0* I traveled to Thailand and after a long late flight I went to check in to the hotel and they stated that they didn’t have a room for me, something they told Traveluro months before but Traveluro never told me. They reimbursed me for some of the far more expensive hotel I was able to find, but didn’t keep their word on covering my costs, and it was like pulling teeth. I don’t trust a company that doesn’t keep their word. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-08-10, version 2.0.0* This app/company is a complete scam. Booked a hotel in London. Fully paid, no booking had to get money back from credit card company. It’s incredibly easy to use, and it doesn’t take long to reserve a room. You can search by city or attraction, or on the map, and then check out the reviews and photos from other travelers. It also has 24/7 customer support. Overall, it's a reliable and convenient app for travel planning and booking. ### 4/5 — Ok *2024-03-16, version 1.2.5* I booked a last minute hotel using traveluro because it saved me about 50% off but it wasnt until after i made the reservation that i saw all the negative reviews. Everything went well but i didnt know what kind of room i was going to stay in until i got to my room. I booked a standard room but the put me in a 2 queen bed room when i wanted just one king size. Hotel wasnt able to do anything because i didnt book directly through them. It was super late at night so i just left it and it was ok. Just wish the site tells you what kind of room you're getting when you book. ### 3/5 — Confirmation doubt *2025-05-16, version 1.3.14* Hotel had no reservation when I called to reconfirm the first time. I contacted Traveluro by email, this app and by phone and told them they have 24 hours to resolve this. They actually did in less time so happy with that. Called the hotel and they were confused because our credit card number, nor our email or phone number was used in the hotel reservation. My name though was on the reservation and the dates were the same as the voucher from Traveluro. They could not see that Traveluro was the company made the non-refundable booking so that was another element of surprise to me. Hilton told me that I should not worry now since if the reservation is cancelled no refund will be issued to Traveluro or whoever paid Hilton for this reservation. Quite an ordeal to save a $100… probably wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The only way this works is to always call the hotel to reconfirm any 3rd party reservation for piece of mind. That I’d say is not just applicable for Traveluro but also the BIG ones like Expedia and Booking.com since they are also 3rd parties. GOOD LUCK saving a few bucks. ### 2/5 — Ugh. *2024-05-30, version 1.3.2* Booked a hotel room thru this website a few weeks ago/ today I got a lovely confirmation text and email- very legit / BUT…. I called the hotel I was supposedly booked at.. and the agent on the phone said.. oh- it looks like it’s been cancelled.. so I have no room! My money has been taken, but room is cancelled as of today. If I wouldn’t have called the hotel direct to check… we would be standing in a hotel with no reservation this week! Now I’ll have to dispute the charges with my credit card. Ok- so today we supposedly check in to that same hotel and it looks like our reservation is back on… I called the hotel directly again. it’s Extremely nerve wracking… but I think I know what they are doing- kind of arbitraging the prices…which isn’t cool unless your a betting person.. they take your money and keep booking and cancelling until they get the lowest price, but keep your “in between” money. Works sometimes, other times they lose money. However- they really do not answer the phone, ever- it just hangs up.
