The only thing it seems to keep good track of is the times for the bus-would love an app for the bus that’s more reliable if I’m suppose to be able to keep track of my children. This year the bus locations are all over the place-I’m suppose to pick my daughter up off the bus around 3:50p or 1:50p and it says the bus isn’t even close to our location! I don’t understand that this app is being used, would be nice to have something that actually works! Also this year the bus isn’t consistent with when it shows up, it’s either early or late! ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work *2024-03-07* The idea of this app is to help show the bus’s position rotation, and time left until it gets to your stop reliably, it does none of these things. It’s a simple problem to fix is the people who made this app had actual skill with coding. One of its points that they make is that they want to help stop people not knowing where the bus is. It doesn’t even try to do this, it says there is a 15 minute delay, doesn’t add it to their time, and then the delay is gone suddenly and I end up going late to my bus stop, and miss it. And when I open the app and click on my bus stop, it does 1 of 3 things. It shows the road but not the bus, it shows nothing but buildings, or it shows the roads and the bus, and the 2 without the bus don’t have the time. And guess which one happens the most? This app is terrible, do not download it. ### 2/5 — Not always helpful *2024-02-22* Sometimes this app works and sometimes it just doesn’t-I’ve had it glitch out and drop the app while I’m using it, it doesn’t always show where the bus is. Also this year the bus isn’t consistent with when it shows up, it’s either early or late! ### 1/5 — Worse than nothing *2024-01-19* My kids have missed the bus more often since our school district started using this app. The bus times are inconsistent and don’t match up with reality. The heart of the problem is how slow it is to update. It takes 10+ minutes to get a new location update, and it only takes about 13 minutes for it to get from the bus depot to our house. That means when the app says the bus is still 13 minutes away and the arrive time is listed accordingly, it could actually be 3 minutes away and then the arrival time suddenly changes to a much earlier time. We decided to stop bothering with the app and just send our kids out at the scheduled time. I wish our district would stop wasting money on this app. ### 1/5 — Still does not work *2023-11-29* This is the first year our school has chosen to use this app and I can see why it’s free. At the start of the school year (middle of August) the app never showed my child had scanned to get on the bus. When my husband checked using the same log in, he had the scan information. The school reported this as an issue for some users with no time frame for fix. Suddenly it was fixed but then started showing my child’s scan to get on and off in a completely different neighborhood which didn’t happen bc the stop is behind our house. They managed to get all that fixed, everything was working just fine for about a month. Now here we are after Thanksgiving break and the app doesn’t show any scans nor does it show where the bus is located. This app has a lot of issues, very inconsistent with data and just overall lacking exactly what it promises to do. We are lucky enough that our bus driver is consistently on time otherwise I’m sure my child would have missed the bus a few times or I would have had to take off work to make sure my child made it home. Respectively fix your app from one developer to another. ### 1/5 — Still horrible *2023-11-10* Tracker will often not update bus location, but will change estimated arrival time. Say the bus is supposed to arrive at 7:05, which was accurate when the tracker updated at 6:45. But now it is 6:55, hasn’t updated location again, but the pickup time will show as 7:15. My tracker also sometimes shows two buses at a time, one being the middle school bus that I am trying to track, and the elementary school bus running it’s middle school route. It is also supposed to send a notification if a bus is running late. I have had the bus be 20 minutes late, and gotten the notification five minutes after the kids were picked up, but usually get nothing about any delays. I notified the bus garage who then adv they would put in a ticket to the app administrators to look into it. Not sure if they did, but it’s definitely not fixed yet. Again, this app was ALMOST everything a mom with young kids would want, when it comes to the bus situation. I’m not sure why the gps couldn’t be in realtime like Google maps or Apple Maps. I don’t know the logistics or cost of it, but would definitely love to know!
