## What is TRAX?

TRAX is the last and only app you will need this year if you: Play gigs in your local pub, provide music for your local church or anywhere on stage. Get rid of all those single feature apps and consolidate into one fully featured backing and split tracks app.

TRAX enables you to navigate anywhere within a song in a live environment with the simple touch of a button. Load in your song and place markers for the different sections of your song and you are ready to go.

TRAX is also perfect for teachers and students wanting to practice to a backing track as it enables a musician to repeat any section of a song as many times as they like.

As a drummer, the developer Marc Castles grew frustrated with other apps that are too limited and don't work well in live environments. Therefore he set out to create TRAX and is always improving it so that TRAX continues to be the best live backing tracks solution available.

Currently TRAX is available for less than $20 and offering a 100% money back guarantee. You’ve got nothing to lose from trying this out. We don’t believe in hiding in app purchases therefore you get the full product from a single payment.

### 1/5 — No songs can’t import anything

*2023-04-25*

Terrible experience. Should include sample songs and can’t import songs I own even.

### 3/5 — Good but limited

*2023-04-12*

The best feature of this app is the visual display showing the sections of each song , verse, bridge, chorus etc. Its easy to import songs and add markers and labels and making a playlist is quick and intuitive. These features make it superior to all the backing track apps we’ve tried . Where it falls down is its lack of multi track audio outputs and midi learn , making it inflexible and hard to use in a live performance. Since it has not been updated for 4 years I doubt any of these features will be added. After 4 years of no updates I’m happy to say it still works on ios 16 ! .

### 4/5 — Great Apps!

*2022-07-17*

More features please, “extra button” to go to specific song marker, thank you, but this is useful!

### 2/5 — Once tracks are uploaded it’s fine but so many bugs

*2022-06-25, version 2.11*

Well this is what happens when an app isn’t upgraded or supported for over 3 years. The import errors and bugs are so plentiful as to render this app not worth the time.

### 5/5 — Amazing! Changed live music performance

*2022-06-02, version 2.11*

I perform using backup tracks and used MP3s on an iPod forever. We could never tell where we were and we were locked to the recorded arrangement of the song.Tracks enables us to have complete freedom over arrangements live in real time. Repeat a solo or infinitely loop a solo until you tap on the next segment of the song. And you can always visually see where you are in the song. We never get lost anymore and we have the freedom to stretch out solos and change arrangements live. I absolutely love this program. Hoping it keeps up with revisions for future future OS because I have created 350 songs for this program so I’m very locked in to TRAX.

### 5/5 — As a solo musician this is one I’ve tried them all.⭐️😎🎶

*2020-08-23, version 2.11*

This app changes everything for me, I can use it exactly how I was using my old RM1X Sequencer in pattern mood and song mood. This is what I have been searching for and I can play my tracks the same way I have been playing them, just waiting for the up scroll button update, and hopefully a midi features 5⭐️’s 🎶🎸🎼 for me.

### 4/5 — Exceptional

*2020-03-10*

Perfect as a minimalist track player where you want to focus on your audience and not worry if the next clip will be the right one or if your performance is about to be ruined. Very quick and easy and no unnecessary fluff

Moreover it won’t crash, and you won’t get lost, which could happen with a clunkier setup like Ableton. No silly monthly fees. Highly recommended! Great Job!

But I will only give it 4 stars because a cross fade when changing to a new song would be great, it could be automatically done (an optional setting) between the current loop and the loop of the new song clip about to launch to make it flow in a live situation.

Otherwise, hats off, this app is fit for purpose - keep it simple!

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2020-03-07, version 2.11*

My band stopped using a real drummer because this is so good

### 4/5 — TRAX

*2019-11-05*

Plan on using this App for live gig performance. Used midi tracks for years, needed to update.
Once over a few operational issues e.g. unlocking the padlock which allowed the green lines to align text tabs, getting the set lists in went well.
Impressed with some feedback from the provider so that got me up and running.
An issue I have had is how to get back to the start of a song mid track. There is probably a trick to it but I have not received a reply yet. The App froze a couple of times but I think that was because I was asking it to do too much. No problem in playback at this stage. With a couple of queries clarified I would rate it 5 stars.
Enjoy.

### 5/5 — This is hands down the best backing tracks app I’ve used

*2019-05-31*

Really easy, intuitive and integrated. Perfect app 5/5
