### 1/5 — Please update

*2020-11-14, version 1.0.3*

The app doesn’t stay connected to the device and every time it disconnects it sets of the alarm. 🤬

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2020-10-25, version 1.0.3*

Don’t waste your money

### 1/5 — ZERO RATING. Greatest Disappointment of a $5 (Five Dollars)...But then again, who am I kidding?

*2020-09-04, version 1.0.3*

I WISH I COULD GIVE A ZERO RATING. I thought it would be nice to have a tracker, but my mistake was to think that this was a tracker. It doesn’t even have the button the instructions requested me to press. So, I pressed on the logo since I didn’t see a button on the supposed-to-be tracker, after I downloaded the app, as instructed. I’m very disappointed, but then again I’m not. It’s not worth it at all to buy it. Unless you just wanna throw away $5, don’t buy it ever. I guess I learned a lesson, by losing my money. 😅

### 1/5 — Just bought & doesn’t work

*2020-06-27, version 1.0.3*

Don’t waste your $5. Opened it up, squeezed the gadget and nothing happened. Opened the thing up and pressed the button itself on the electronic insides and it made the sound of a toy with .000001% battery juice left. It made the smallest quietest clicking noise. I thought, well maybe this is the “beep” they meant. But no, there was still no connection to the phone. I’d go buy a new battery to try and replace it but it’s honestly not worth it for a piece of junk that most likely won’t work anyways. Waste of $5.

### 1/5 — App and device useless

*2020-02-15, version 1.0.3*

Both of these things have been rendered useless. Tried to get the app to be able to locate my car and when you try to hook it up to the device, nothing happens. waste of time and money.

### 1/5 — Not useful

*2020-01-10, version 1.0.3*

Did everything directions said. Even with new battery doesn’t stay on long enough to be useful. Lose something and don’t find it in couple hours it won’t do you any good since you have to keep squeezing it every couple hours for it to stay on to connect.

### 1/5 — Traxxit

*2019-12-01, version 1.0.3*

Worthless ... The device works sporadically and the signal falls off. I attempt to reconnect and it fails 9 times out of 10. If I ever lost my keys, this device would be no help as it is unreliable and does not hold the signal long enough to be of value. Good concept, very poor execution.

### 1/5 — Two thumbs down

*2019-11-15, version 1.0.3*

I purchased 4 for the family. Only two of them worked to begin with. The other two have spent the evening randomly going off every 10-20 minutes. I finally turned them off completely. What good is a locator if you have to keep it turned off?

Going right back tomorrow.

### 1/5 — Didn't work

*2019-10-27, version 1.0.3*

I'm notorious for loosing my keys and my sweet grandmother bought me this, I had no idea what to expect but figured it would at least work out of the package. Much to my surprise the triangle wouldn't even turn on thus my review. Don't waste your money lol.

### 1/5 — Trash it

*2019-10-08, version 1.0.3*

Well for starters the app won’t even load so it is useless. Just trash it, return it and get your money back. What a disappointment! 👎

### 1/5 — This works but..

*2019-10-08, version 1.0.3*

This works but if you close the app the device starts an alarm on the device that goes off all the time so you would have to constantly have your app open to use this .. I wanted because my dog occasionally gets lose but for twice a year I don’t wanna keep my app constantly open or suffer a beeping sound on my dogs collar constantly

### 1/5 — It doesn’t work

*2019-09-08, version 1.0.3*

Got from 5 and below and doesn’t come with instructions. Didn’t even feel like there’s a button or I don’t even think there is actually a button. And the thing wouldn’t even turn on or at least show up o the app. Good thing it’s only $5 or I would’ve been the next Karen to rant about a product. Would never recommend, just absolutely a terrible product.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2019-07-12, version 1.0.3*

Did not work whatsoever. Tried to make it work for 30 minutes without success. Do NOT waste your money on the product.

### 2/5 — Didn’t work right out of the box!

*2019-07-04, version 1.0.3*

Soo picked this up thinking it would be good since I have a keyless car start. I always have it somewhere but when I go to find it I have to dig in the bottom of my purse. I got the app n squeezed like I was supposed to and nothing. I tried 2 more times. I ck’d the battery type n I have one on hand so I put it in. First of all the battery in it wasn’t the same as what the app told me to use. I put mine in it anyway (after lifting the prongs to get it to fit) and it worked. That was till I put the cover back on it. Now there’s no room to squeeze it. I’m getting another battery the same as what was in it. We shall see what happens.

### 1/5 — Garbo

*2019-06-16, version 1.0.3*

Has a range of maybe 20 feet and it starts beeping because it lost the connection. If you close the app, it starts beeping because it lost the connection. Really kinda useless tbh

### 1/5 — Avoid this product

*2019-06-16, version 1.0.3*

People giving this a 5 star must be paid to do so... here are things I’ve noticed from 5 minutes of use.

Pros:
- affordable
- comes with a keychain
- cool design
- lightweight
- super easy set up

Cons:
- If you close the app, the keychain will start beeping.
- If I go from one side of the house to the middle (it’s a small condo by the way) the alarm goes off because it “failed to connect” which I’m guessing means I’m out of range.
- If I keep the app open but keep it running in the background, the keychain STILL beeps. (This might be due to me having background app refresh turned off on my phone... I’ll have to test this)

While it has some good pros, the product doesn’t do the one thing it was created to do which is why I’m rating this so low. If I could open the app and then turn on alarm, I would love this product! Since I am unable to have the app closed without it going off, there is no real point to having this product. I have to turn the keychain part off when ever I’m closing the app so if I lose my keys while it’s off, waste of money.

### 1/5 — You get what you paid for.

*2019-06-13, version 1.0.3*

$5 for this little keychain and I opened it and it didn’t work. I didn’t even get to try it. I mean come on. At least work!? What a bummer. I was really looking forward to test the thing out but it wouldn’t even work.

### 4/5 — Almost Perfect!

*2019-05-24, version 1.0.3*

Definitely would love it more had it had an option to work on Mobile Data too! Other than that, it's a cool device!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Trash

*2026-04-06, version 1.0.3*

Does not work at first It kept disconnecting it self and now it does not even connect at all
It all happened within days

### 1/5 — Worst Product On The Market

*2023-09-30, version 1.0.3*

This is the worst personal item tracking product on the market. It's simply doesn't work. When you close the app after set up it disconnects from the tracking devices. Then their alarms go off to let you know that they disconnected from your phone. Then you go through the process to reconnect to them and when you exit out of the app they disconnect again. This product is completely unusable.

### 1/5 — Screw that

*2023-03-18, version 1.0.3*

The app literally asked if it could hack my phone and I could not leave app had to get a new phone

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work.

*2022-09-06, version 1.0.3*

Right out of the box. Brand new. Doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Waste of money.

*2022-02-07, version 1.0.3*

This is a total waste of money. Do yourself a favor and use AirTags instead.

### 1/5 — JUNK!! Don’t waste your money!

*2021-03-15, version 1.0.3*

This things a piece of junk. Doesn’t work even right out of the box.
The instructions are barely legible since they’ve been poorly translated from another language.
Even if you are, in fact, bright and tech savvy enough to figure it out on your own the device still doesn’t work!
It will connect but the second you close or minimize the app the device will disconnect. I purchased this to help me locate my keys when in a hurry, it MIGHT work for that simple task but even then you have to keep the app running 24/7. Not happening lol
The box advertised all sorts of uses like locating a lost pet or wallet - well the device won’t even work if it’s more than 75 feet away from the device (the device that is running the app 24/7 smh) so the device can’t be used for either of those things.
Don’t waste your time or money!
Amazon sells a much better, fully functional device called “Tile” that actually does what it should! It’ll track the device no matter where it is - so if your cat ran away you’d have a GPS location at all times, not just for the first 75 feet...which I might remind you is really short distance...pretty much the device literally will only work within your own home...
What I want to say about it contains a lot more profane language but I’ll keep it PG13 and just say that overall this product is a piece of crap.
Don’t buy it!

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2021-02-01, version 1.0.3*

It constantly disconnects then starts beeping to let you know it disconnected. Reconnect just to have it disconnected again in a couple of minutes.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-12-29, version 1.0.3*

I bought this thinking it would be a good way to track my keys, I lose them a lot. I can’t seem to keep it connected. The minute I step away from it with my phone it bleeps and disconnects. Do not recommend.

### 1/5 — WONT STOP BEEPING

*2020-12-28, version 1.0.3*

I wish I could give this less than one star honestly. I thought it would be a good idea to track my keys but even closing the app causes the trackers to beep. Absolutely ridiculous and a SCAM.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2020-12-24, version 1.0.3*

I followed the instructions multiple times and still not sure if it was properly linked. Some of the features I’m supposed to have that the instructions state are not there. When I go to try and locate my keys it gives me my phone/ the app location instead of my key’s location. For example, keys were left at work and I was home. App shows my home location. Never heard a noise come from the app or Traxx it device. That goes to show dont but cheap when it comes to technology.

### 5/5 — It’s great, don’t hate.

*2019-11-03, version 1.0.3*

I use it a lot, in many different instances, & it rules. - Word.

*A real consumer*

### 5/5 — Those who gave bad reviews can’t read

*2019-05-12, version 1.0.3*

Everything is super clear on the instruction tab. And if you can’t understand what it said go ask someone else who is better at technology than you. The logo is the button. To set up the first time, follow these steps:
1- Turn on bluetooth
2- Turn on the app and press HARD on the logo until you hear a beep
3- Under Device tab, hit the search symbol
4- You now connected

A. To track the device, hit Alarm on your phone
B. To track your phone, double press HARD on the device
C. To save your parking location, press HARD once on the device. Check it back under the Location tab on the app.

You’re welcome!

### 5/5 — It works!

*2019-05-02, version 1.0.3*

### 5/5 — For the reviews already left here about Traxx it THANK YOU...

*2019-03-16, version 1.0.3*

I would’ve been looking for YouTube videos trying to set up without the reviews I read. Much thanks for that. I doubt I would’ve gotten it set up as quick on my own. Tested and true I found the device when I had my kids hide it. I think this little tracker is great especially for 5 buck bought at (the store)
5 Below. I am looking forward to misplacing my keys.
***ONLY when I searched for it in the App Store it shows two different apps. I down loaded both and found the one to work for me is the app with the word “lifestyle” under the app name. I hope it helps you all.

### 5/5 — Pretty cool..

*2019-02-21, version 1.0.3*

I came across this thing today at 5 below & I’d figure I give it a try because I’m always losing my keys or my phone! Now if I have 1.. I’ll be able to find the other. I like that its 1 device but can works to locate either or! Easy to set up.. & it gives u sound options for the alarm to locate your phone. FINALLY.. something like this for us forgetful people.

### 5/5 — ContAct me ASAP

*2019-01-20, version 1.0.3*

This device works like a charm, please inbox or reply with your email. I have an improvement idea to share with you. Thank you

### 5/5 — Works great for me

*2018-09-19, version 1.0.3*

When you are pairing with app Hold Button down untill it pairs and that’s all ! Easy

### 5/5 — It Traxx IT!!!

*2018-05-03*

Ok, I tested this little $5.00 gadget out. And it does what it says it will do.
The instructions did throw me off when it said to press a “Button” in the bottom of the Traxxit unit.
• There is no button on the bottom. The whole unit is the button. So those of you that fussed over the button issue, I understand. Just squeeze the triangular pill itself and it responds!
• It beeps or alarms when the app is closed because that’s what it was designed to do. If you close the app, it disconnects your Traxxit from your phone. That’s a good thing. If it didn’t do that we would end up losing our keys or whatever it is we have connected to the Traxxit! Just keep the app connected / tethered or blue-toothed and there’ll be no issues. Sure, it could have background refreshing, but it doesn’t. Perhaps that’s a future thing. For $5 bucks that great!!!
• A 75 foot connection isn’t bad. At that range I should be in the same building at least.
Traxxit is SIMPLE and yet EFFECTIVE at what it was designed to do.
I had no problem setting it up and running in minutes. I see more of these gizmos in my future.

### 5/5 — Does what it should

*2017-12-28, version 1.0.3*

So far works great, aside from the inability to close the app without having to reconnect everything. Definitely gives the overpriced brands a run for their $$$!!!
