## What is Trazos?

Trazos is an intimate, passport-size sketchbook where what you draw has three dimensions.

Draw with Apple Pencil just like on paper, in charcoal strokes. Let go, and each stroke stays in space. Turn the sketch with a finger and see it from any side. No shapes, no measurements, no modes: just strokes.

FUNCTIONS AND INTEGRALS IN 3D
• Type or dictate a formula and tap Draw: watch it traced in charcoal, in space.
• Graphs, polar and parametric curves, surfaces like the saddle z = x² − y², solids of revolution and vector fields.
• Areas, double and triple integrals, volumes, derivatives, tangents, Taylor polynomials, maxima, minima and contour lines.
• Everything is worked out on your device, and every function can be changed later.

LEARN BY PRACTICING
• A practice notebook with nine exercises, from a line along an axis to functions.

NOTEBOOKS THAT FEEL REAL
• A shelf of notebooks with cloth, leather or kraft covers, each with its color and its band.
• They open like a book, and their pages turn like in Books.
• Every page is an illustration with its own title.

MADE FOR IPHONE DUO
• Folded, your notebook fits the cover screen.
• Unfolded, it reads as a spread, with the spine right on the fold.
• Half open, the dual view shares the fold: you draw in one panel while the other turns freely.

AND ON IPAD TOO
• The same shelf, synced with your iCloud.
• The dual view splits the screen, and you can move its line.

HELP THAT STAYS OUT OF THE WAY
• A stroke that starts on a grid dot, the origin or the end of another starts right there.
• Top, front and side are flat views, without perspective, to draw as on a drawing board; isometric stands it up in 3D.
• A reference sheet you can move and turn, to draw on the same plane again and again.
• Sepia, dark sepia, white or black paper.
• Export as PNG, JPG, and vector PDF and SVG.

TRULY PRIVATE
No accounts, no ads and no tracking. Your notebooks only travel to your own iCloud.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-10-28

What's new in 1.1

• Functions and integrals in 3D: tap ƒ(x), type or dictate a formula and press ▶ to watch it drawn in charcoal. Graphs, surfaces, areas, volumes, derivatives and much more, always worked out on your device.
• Practice notebook: nine exercises to learn to draw in 3D, from a single line to functions.
• Start right where you mean to: a stroke that begins on a grid dot, the origin or the end of another stroke starts exactly there.
• Plan, front and side are now flat views, without perspective, to draw as on a drawing board; isometric stands it up in 3D.
• Export as PNG, JPG, and vector PDF and SVG.
• Your brush's opacity is kept.
• On iPad, drag the line that splits the dual view.
• Tap a notebook's date to change it.
