Launches right into sign up for a subscription with no free trial - in other words pay up before you can even see how the app works. And they aren’t using the apple system for managing the subscription, so you have to give them your credit card number directly and jump through whatever hoops they have for cancelling. Disappointing and an immediate uninstall. **Developer response:** Hi firewall84, Thanks so much for the honest feedback, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re always trying to find ways to make the club and the payment options more transparent, especially around trials and subscriptions. We're constantly looking at ways to improve that experience, and your comment helps us to understand what members want. We're committed to making the Club better, and based on feedback like yours, we now offer a free trial. Our free channels will also always remain the same. If you’re ever open to giving it another go, we’d love to have you back, hopefully with a much improved setup. Thanks again for your feedback. ### 1/5 — A Subscription Model You Can’t Cancel *2025-01-06* This club requires a subscription right off the bat. Great, no problem. However, there is no way to cancel it. There’s no section on the app to update your payment, see your subscription renewal date, or cancel your subscription. There is an option to delete your account but does it cancel your subscription? Who the heck knows. I was a big fan of the running channel and was happy to support them by checking out the club for a month but when I went searching for my subscription info (not even sure l i wanted to cancel yet), i was surprised that i couldn’t find anything. So I messaged them in the app and asked them how I could cancel. After 2 days (granted it was near Christmas) they got back to me and told me i had to email them to cancel. First off, disgusting and sleezy system to have in 2025. Second, it’s been 5 days and they still haven’t responded to me outside of an automatic email that confirmed they got my message. Extremely disappointed with Andy and TRC. If you design an app around a subscription model and give no simple way for people to unsubscribe then I’m left with only 1 conclusion; you’re looking to rip people off. **Developer response:** Hi SoencerFl, Thanks so much for the honest feedback, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We completely understand your frustration and we're really sorry your experience with the app has been disappointing. We’ve been working on (and continue to work on) the process around cancelling a Club membership. We had some technical issues with the cancellation process which weren’t resolved as quickly as we had hoped - we always want to be transparent with our members and have introduced a new cancellation system to fully address this. We’re a small team, and while that doesn’t excuse the gaps, the Club is a labour of love that we want to be as good as possible and we’ll try to address any bugs as soon as possible as we continue to build and improve. This is a community for sharing your experiences, learning from others, and sharing your accomplishments. The other members are very helpful and supportive and the TRC content is always enjoyable. I have learned so much in the time I’ve been part of the club which has helped me no end. So much to get stuck in to ### 5/5 — The Gavi of Social Networking *2024-11-17, version 1.0.0* I was rather sceptical about how useful this might be and how well built it would be… there are so many social media networks now, what possible purpose is there for an additional one for running? However I’ve been rather surprised and how a separately developed app is so feature rich… and it’s done one clear thing for me… it’s cleared up my feed of nonsense running influencers (the bad ones!) and sports brand advertising. It’s great that there’s a place I can go where people will care about my Vo2 max 😂, and so far it’s a pleasant place to be, reading others great stories and achievements. Let’s hope they can keep it good natured and non judgemental, and free of noisy advertisements. Well done guys!
