I don’t use iTunes so I don’t know what email I should use. I’m blocked out of it And I’m really sad, because I really liked this app! It is well paced for my treadmill walk and makes it much easier! I didn’t feel like a hamster on a wheel. I felt like a human being enjoying the beauty of the world in which we live! ♥️ I stopped using it because the trails were always changing. I like a full trail without interruption. It jumps onto different trails, which is distracting and disorienting to me. But the main thing I feel bad about is I cant get into the app because I didn’t use it for 30 days. :-( Now it’s useless for me, because I can’t remember the email I used. **Developer response:** Update: Alpinelaurel, please email me: ds@bettercheaperslower.com. We'll get you logged in. About the trails: there are some "Greatest Hits" trails videos that include sections of several different trails. For example, "America's Best: The National Parks" includes trails in Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Glacier and Arches. But there are more than 150 Treadmill Trails videos that take you along a single trail, from trailhead to finish. Now, please, please email me so we can get you back on the trails. Just mount up the iPad and away you go. The individual videos are very reasonably priced and I guarantee you will purchase several. Especially like the mountain trails, allowing you to crank up slope. Just wish that there were more of them. Maybe in the future the developer could add a map at the end, showing the trail location and name on a map. Maybe motivate the user to take the video into a real time tour out of doors. Traveled several times to Cromwell CT and back across it. Took a 17 foot cabin cruiser through East River and north up the Hudson to the St. Lawrence! Very interesting perspective of the Hudson! The videos take my mind off running and I don’t think about the time anymore. It almost feels like I finished my outdoor run in a vacation home, which I don’t have. I don’t have to worry about lightening storms, cold, or even bears and wolves, but I can enjoy the forest hikes. My allergies are bad outside or we have snow outside five months out of the year, this is a big help. Thank you! However, after not using it for several weeks, I was asked to sign in. The app did not recognize my email address and I had to delete and reinstall the app. Although I was initially allowed to restore the numerous trails I had purchased, the app now is requiring me to repurchase trails I already paid for. Attempts to email the developers via the email address provided with the app have been deemed undeliverable. I have been ripped off without an opportunity to restore purchased trails. So you have to delete it, reinstall in and synchronise something to do with Apple. While my treadmill was put up for home renovations, I purchased a new iPad and am unable to access the trails I had purchased on the old iPad. I guess you’re supposed to sync this device with your App Store purchases and while I’m not usually tech challenged, I cannot figure out how or find instructions anywhere. So, so creepy. *2018-02-19, version 46.0* The app is pretty bare-bones in the user interface department, which would be fine if the menu system wasn’t buggy too. Work your way past that, and you’ll pay a dollar to download any individual “premium” video, which (at least in the case of the “Autumn in Central Park” one I downloaded) is filmed at a slow walking pace and voiced over with a super cheeseball (or patently uber-creepy; your mileage may vary) narrator and a musical track that sounds like it was ripped off from a Belgian Seinfeld remake. “Mmmmm, yeah... the Park’s all... [ours] this morning... let’s explore the rocks and trees...” I’m not even concerned there are people who obviously like this app and enjoy the associated videos - it makes me feel like I made a good decision investing in digital pepper spray. ### 2/5 — No Reply to Request for Support *2026-06-19, version 54.7.0* Good trails BUT have been trying for over a month to reach developer with no response to my 4 emails. Thought I would update my review, as I have now been using the treadmill and this App for almost 8 months and I have got down to my ideal weight. I have seen places that I will never get to visit. I avoided the city trails both in America and Europe, as my only knowledge of them is from TV and Movies and they don’t show them in the best light but after 3 months I decided to give them a go, I started with Central Park and New York and after trying them I downloaded all the others and have not been disappointed. After retiring towards the end of 2024 I got myself a treadmill in January 2025, I haven’t really excercised for many years, I used to walk around a warehouse all day when I worked but that’s not really exercise, so I looked for an app so that using the treadmill wasn’t so boring. This is the best treadmill app I have come across, I tried a couple of others with a free trial but they wanted a 12 month subscription, which as a pensioner I couldn’t afford, this one allows me to buy the ones I want when I want, although I will probably have most of them by the end of the year. The trails make using the treadmill more enjoyable and not boring, they also help with motivation, I even watch the tails when I’m just sitting around relaxing, I look forward to more trails being added in the future. Video continues without regard to your pace, which I like because streaming doesn’t interrupt. Videos are high quality. Plenty to choose from. Buy a video once and you’re good forever - I.e. no monthly subscription! Yeah! Voice over actually bearable; or you can opt-out and play your own music. There are 30 minute or 60 minute videos. Whether your pace is walking or jogging, you feel like you’re going at the ps e of the video. More hiking videos than I could count, some non-hiking for a cool down or relaxing few minutes, and some audio only downloads. It is worth downloading the app just to see the huge variety and preview whatever catches your eye. All videos have previews, and all are for low cost download, so you own them. For $5 I bought 3-30 minute and 1-60 minute video which will keep me very happy for quite a while. Due to updates I had an issue with my videos connecting to the app. I sent an email to the developer, and almost immediately I received a response with instructions on how to rectify the problem. Everything is back on track and all is well! Fast and friendly customer service all the way!
