### 4/5 — How do you parry?

*2018-11-24*

Good little game for $1 but I can’t figure out how to party. Still fun though. Impossible after about level 5 when you bounce into fire constantly.

### 4/5 — The Binding of Issac meets... pool?

*2018-04-19, version 1.0*

Definitely worth the money and has a lot of charm. I can’t say I’ve played any other game like this but it works really well and there’s a lot of content.

To leave some feedback though:

1. A tutorial would be nice, so that it explains the basic premise and a few technical things like how auras work.

2. A description of each character’s unique mechanics on the character selection screen would be really great.

3. It’s easy enough to figure out what items do just by using them, but a brief description upon pickup or when activated would result in less trial-and-error.

4. Some games can go on a bit.. long? My first ever run ended up going for over an hour, and as fun as it was, I won’t have many slots in my days where I can actually play for that long.

Otherwise this is a real innovative game and I think the developers are onto something. This and their other game have so much charm and feel so unique.

### 5/5 — Amazingly fun

*2016-10-16*

Only wish for 2 things, a save function and some instructions. I don't know how to parry and I didn't know what aura did for half the game.

### 5/5 — Binding of Isaac meets Pachinko?

*2016-10-13*

This is probably one of the best mobile games I've played. While I agree that some sort of progression would really drive this one home, the gameplay is definitely solid enough to warrant the dollar I spent on it. I hope this one gets an update or two--what a gem.

### 4/5 — Great fun but repetitive with only repetitive replay value

*2016-10-13*

Totally like a long lost Turbografx 16 game. Really fun until you realize the rpg elements are never realized. I finished the 4 bosses and barely 1/2 my character's stats were upgraded. Really they should have made the upgrades persistent between deaths and just increments them in smaller upgrade levels. Finishing the game just to find out I have to finish it again but collect more gold for their "true" ending is a real let down. I know why they designed arcade mode this way but with some adjustments you could get even more replay value without the progress-less repetition.

### 5/5 — Really fun!

*2016-10-11*

This game is just old fashioned arcade fun, really well done.

### 4/5 — Like a lost '90s arcade classic

*2016-10-11, version 1.0*

This unique game has the look, feel and sound of a '90s arcade game... perhaps 'classic' isn't quite the right word - This is more a niche, uh, gem. Gameplay is fast and compelling, mixing pinball with something like a turn-based bullet hell shooter (if that makes any kind of sense) and linking everything with a Smash TV style progression through a series of rooms ending with a boss on each floor. With six heroes to choose from, there's plenty of replay potential (They all have beautifully drawn end stories to discover). My only criticism is the game, while fun, is not very challenging. Don't get me wrong - I don't enjoy getting destroyed on a final boss fight! But a 'hard' mode would be welcome. Also another instruction screen would be good to explain some of the mechanics (e.g. You can tap to 'parry' enemy attacks; also a proper explanation of 'aura'). Short review: Fun game, great price, great presentation, something unique and different on the App Store! If you have $1 / 79p, this is worth way more than that.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2016-10-09*

Really great game. Easy to pick up and play. Love it. The slightest bit of a tutorial would be much appreciated though. And a story mode would be really cool.

### 4/5 — Fun game

*2016-10-08*

New twist on gameplay, would be cool if there were more things to buy though, pretty much buy one item and that's it

### 5/5 — Lovely

*2016-10-08*

Simple yet plenty of depth, I love the one finger controls.

### 1/5 — Boffff

*2019-10-07*

Boffffff

### 1/5 — Contains pornography!

*2016-10-18*

My six year old son has been playing this game. Today a 1/2 spider human creature appeared in the game with bare breasts. This was not an ad, it was part of the game. This game is not for children and we have deleted it.

### 1/5 — Boring

*2016-10-11*

Nothing to really work toward and no story. Waste of money. I wish Apple had a refund system like androids google play

### 1/5 — No progression, no thanks.

*2016-10-09*

With absolutely nothing to work for, this got old really quick. Decent gameplay, but that's it. Uninstalled within 30 minutes.

### 1/5 — Not much of a game

*2016-10-09, version 1.0*

Feels really random. Not fun at all.

### 2/5 — It’s ok-ish

*2018-04-19, version 1.0*

The concept is good but it has many major problems/flaws. You can’t protect the character from the enemies projectiles, the items get rather expensive rather quickly, some of the items bought do nothing/disappear from the screen or don’t appear on the screen at all/should be permanent until the game ends (such as the bullet that is supposed to double the damage you do! You should be able to use the shop more than once if you can get there! There are treasure rooms that have no key to unlock them in the room next door! Alot more food needs to get dropped, not at the expense of something else!

### 2/5 — Meh.

*2017-10-17*

Starts out as a mildly fun, if not random, pachinko game. The randomness makes it silly impossible by about level 5. Uncontrollably bouncing through fires so that you die in one or two turns is... kind of anticlimactic. Needs some balancing and it could be worthwhile.

### 3/5 — Just needs a bug fix

*2026-06-06*

Would play this game but it plays in 720p or 480p for some reason, even though I can tell it’s capable of 1080p on my iPhone 14. Please fix this? Great game otherwise

### 3/5 — Give us a save spot please.

*2016-10-08*

Fun game, you really should have a save option at the end of levels. Not everyone has the time or desire to replay from the beginning every time they start a new game. Kinda don't know what you were thinking there. (Unless I'm missing something, don't think so though.)

It's well done though.

### 4/5 — Who needs instructions?!

*2023-06-20*

Pretty fun game and mostly self explanatory. Still clueless about a couple of features even after several hours of gameplay but it’s definitely entertaining.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the game

*2021-06-07*

Love this game! Big fan of sling games that test spatial skills! Keep going! Update this one and make more sling games please!

### 5/5 — Another amazing game dripping with nostalgia

*2020-03-30, version 1.0*

A younger less challenging yet just as addictive brother to so Slayin. FDG once again came through with this simple yet feature rich sling physics game. From stunning 80s retro graphics, to the bit pixel audio, you can’t help yourself but fall endlessly in love with this gem of a game.

#1 most underrated app on this App Store.
Hats of to the developers once again,

### 5/5 — Best Mobile Game ever...?

*2019-10-30*

It's just remarkable, it captures what makes an arcade game so amazing. the art, and quality of gameplay stand out more than any other game ive ever played on mobile. It makes me so sad to see this has so few ratings/reviews. Big appreciation game devs!! <3

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2017-05-23, version 1.0*

Retro throwback game. Arkanoid meets Smash TV. Amazing soundtrack and a steal for $0.99

### 5/5 — Nuevo Retro Jaw Dropper!

*2017-01-07*

Pleasing to all the senses. So glad i took a chance on this. This will fight Alto's Adventure for my mobile gaming time now.

Support this talented developer!

### 5/5 — Awesome turn based gameplay

*2016-12-02*

I love to fling my character around and bounce off of enemies to attack them and the fact that you can tap at the exact time you get hit to parry an attack makes the game more difficult which is great. All the enemies do something different which is awesome and the few cutscenes that are in the game look awesome. So delve into the dungeon where the treasure busters reside. Can you defeat Death?

### 5/5 — Gauntlet meets pinball. Super fun!

*2016-11-24*

This is an excellent dungeon crawler - or should I say dungeon bouncer? The controls are mostly intuitive, although getting the knack of parry takes time. I have never seen gameplay quite like this. Unique and fun. A worthy casual game.

### 5/5 — Very well made game.

*2016-11-16*

Such a fun game to have when waiting for a bus or something. There is a bug, however when you pull back to fire your character too quickly; doesn't pull back all the way. Would like that fixed, please.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2016-10-23*

Great game. Unique concept.

Awesome retro/pixel dungeon style. Highly recommended.

Treasure Buster, Venture Kid and Slayin' are highly recommended.

Would love to see sequels!

### 5/5 — Nailed it!

*2016-10-18*

This is not just pixelated, I can smell the fish & chips and feel the cabinet vibrating against my knees. Great sound. Strobing sprites. Well done to everyone involved. Exciting!
