App now works as intended! ========== I have yet to even be able to log in to the site. It either freezes up or says it sent an email for an OTP and the email never comes. When I use my account on the actual website, it all works fine. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback and bug reporting. Over the last weekend, Treasurydirect.gov made some website changes including requiring OTP every login and changing the webpage format. This caused Treasuryviewer to not work at all. We pushed an update on Monday (version 1.0.13) to work with these changes. If you're willing to give us another chance, we would greatly appreciate it. ### 5/5 — Good Way to View I-bonds *2023-05-10* I like using it to view my i-bonds for treasurydirect.gov. However I have deleted it because within 2 weeks my password appeared on the dark web. It has never been leaked before and this application is the only way it could have leaked. ### 1/5 — Cannot cash out my bonds! *2024-07-15* TreasuryDirect is not good anymore! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work for me. *2023-06-13* I can’t log in, and I can’t find a way to get support from the developers other than write an unflattering review. I guess I will wait for someone to contact me. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback as we’re always trying to do better. The general login process is to login with ones’ TreasuryDirect account number and password. If the account is found, then a one-time password will be generated. Users can then login using that password into their account. We do everything locally from the phone and do not store user credentials online. In Version 1.0.18, we’ve renamed the Login Box to Account Number to help clarify things. We’re also working on an update to improve the OTP (one-time password) and general login process to make it easier in the future. We love hearing from our users so please do leave any comments, suggestions, improvements, complaints, or ideas you may have. ### 1/5 — Spam calls *2023-06-09* I downloaded this app and logged in only to begin receiving endless spam calls within 24 to 48 hours. I’m careful about where my information goes and upon logging in was suspicious as to whether the app would gather my personal information beyond displaying my account values. It could have all been a coincidence and I haven’t received any spam email as of yet, four days later, but even before I started receiving the spam calls, I deleted the app wondering how they pay for creating and maintaining it. If you are the app creator/employee and reading this, please ensure your users as to how their information either cannot be accessed or is not used undesirably. And please immediately remove all of my personal information from all databases and lists if you collected it. **Developer response:** Thanks for the comments, as we’re always trying to do better. We hate spam calls too, and would be incredibly bothered by a company selling or releasing their users’ numbers and emails without their permission. In short we do not use our users’ personal data, as we do not have access to it. We do not store any personal data like personal information, email, phone number from our users from a TD login. Rest assured we do not know your number or email. Our shortened privacy policy is, “We have no servers or databases, everything happens between your phone and TreasuryDirect.com. We use Google Analytics mostly to figure out when and why a TreasuryDirect change breaks our app,“ and our full privacy policy can be found at https://treasuryviewer.com/privacy.html. ### 3/5 — Love the app but it’s become unusable *2026-06-07* Love the app, have been using it for the past couple years. I like the change to allow you to login to the TreasuryDirect website through the app, but since that and other recent changes I can rarely get my portfolio to pop up or an order to go through for a bill. Relogging a couple of times will get me brief access but it’s intermittent at best. I have a new iPhone and am running off WiFi typically, so it definitely seems like the app. ### 3/5 — Can use improvement *2025-05-21* This app is useful for you on a mobile phone but can use many improvements. First it still needs the OTP, which is a big hassle. Second there is no way to sort notes bills and bonds. Third, the main screen doesn’t show expiration dates which also should be able to be sorted. ### 4/5 — Nice app but not worth the price *2025-11-04* Works great for one account. I’d like to add a second account, but decided the convenience can’t possibly justify the high price at $60 a year. A one-time unlock of $10 would be a much more reasonable price. ### 4/5 — Basic but gets the job done *2023-05-23* A simple app that’s how’s your holding at the fed direct treasury. It asks for a OTP each time you login because that’s what the TD website does - that make me feel safer actually. It shows the holdings, individual yields and portfolio yield. Perfect! Only bug is that with the last update the UI get messed up and the bold font on the total amounts wraps around now. It should round up to the nearest $ instead of showing 00 cents and wrapping around the box. Will give 5 stars once the UI is fixed. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. Nice clean interface compared to doing at TD direct. For buying Notes there isn’t an option to set # of reinvestment cycles. Strange because on Manage screen it does display reinvestment # for already bought Notes off TD website.
