## What is Tree Health Survey?

Tree Health Survey (THS) is a smartphone app developed for field data collection efforts that track impacts to forest health caused by non-native pests and pathogens. THS hosts a beech leaf disease project that allows users to contribute data and track the occurrence of this emerging forest health crisis. Users will join a collaborative community of citizen scientists, natural resource managers, foresters, and more from across the country to provide a large- scale account of this and other emerging forest pests. ### 5/5 — Beech Leaf Disease is a huge problem!

And this app gives an avenue for anybody to report symptoms. It’s really nice to see a training section as well as images of symptoms throughout the app. There are some quirks to the app, but once you’re past them, this is a much needed solution to a huge forest epidemic.

Why am I not able to create a new account? It never sent an email to me for verification. I believe I have a BLD. My beach tree is old and large and I lived in CT, Middlesex County for 22 years, this is the first time the tree has hardly any leaves.
