## What is Treelet Beauty?

Take one photo. Understand your skin.

Treelet Beauty checks your skin on your device and turns the result into skincare steps you can actually follow. Scoring stays on device by default, and photos are not uploaded for analysis.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Scan from the camera or your photo library: tone, smoothness, oiliness, pores, and skin age
• Skincare advice in priority order: cleansing, moisturizing, sun protection, pore care, and brightening
• Optional photo notes on a report. Download the on-device model anytime; a subscription or lifetime unlock is required to generate with it
• Revisit past reports, compare them, and share when you want
• Keep “me” and “friends” records separate for family check-ins

NEW IN 1.3
• Lifetime unlock: one purchase for unlimited scans, plus on-device advice and photo notes
• On-device models fit the phone better. If Treelet Health already downloaded the shared model, Beauty can reuse it
• Landscape, rotated, and library photos are analyzed right-side up
• Face detection stays aligned with the camera frame, and layouts read more clearly across iPhone sizes

WHY TREELET BEAUTY
• Privacy-first: analysis and enhanced advice stay on device by default
• A routine, not just a score
• Simplified Chinese and English
• Made for everyday skincare, not a one-time novelty scan

PLANS
Without a subscription you can run 1 free scan every 7 days and still see basic advice.
A monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, unlocks unlimited scans and generation with downloaded on-device models. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be canceled in your Apple ID settings. Lifetime is a single payment and does not auto-renew. Prices and benefits shown in the app are final.

IMPORTANT
Skin analysis and skincare advice are for everyday reference only. They are not a medical diagnosis or treatment. See a dermatologist if you have a skin condition or health concern.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-15

What's New in 1.3
• Reports and skincare advice now follow this scan’s oil zones, texture, and your profile instead of one fixed template
• Lifetime unlock: one purchase for unlimited scans, plus on-device advice and photo notes
• On-device models fit the phone better; a model already downloaded in Treelet Health can be reused
• Landscape, rotated, and library photos are analyzed right-side up
• Face detection stays aligned with the camera frame
• Home, reports, and skincare advice read more clearly across iPhone sizes

Analysis and advice are for everyday skincare reference only and are not a medical diagnosis.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-15

### New
On‑device AI Models (Settings Page): Support on‑demand download of the Skincare Recommendation Model and Image Analysis Model.
Hybrid AI Recommendation Pipeline: Automatic fallback based on availability.
AI Image Analysis in Reports: Generate reference interpretations powered by on‑device capabilities on demand within inspection reports.
CDN Distribution: Global model download; image‑analysis model manifest.
Support for resume‑from‑breakpoint transfers and file validation.

### Changes
Subscription Policy: A subscription is no longer required for model downloads. A subscription is only needed to generate content using downloaded on‑device models. Non‑subscribed users can still access the rule engine and system Foundation Models where available.
Settings UI Text: Only feature names (Skincare Recommendation / Image Analysis) are displayed externally; specific model brands and specifications are hidden.
Engineering Optimization: Removed unused duplicate and redundant resources. On‑device built‑in analysis capabilities remain in use for detection scoring.
Performance & Experience: Models are switched to background/lazy loading. High‑precision analysis is no longer executed on the main thread during camera preview. Recommendation generation runs asynchronously.

### Notes
The enhanced recommendation and image‑analysis features in this release require an internet connection for the initial download. Once downloaded, they can run locally on the device.
Interpretation results are for skincare reference only and do not constitute medical diagnosis.

### 1.1 — 2026-02-24

This version optimizes the detection algorithm, adds multilingual support, and fixes some other bugs.

### 1.0 — 2025-10-17

No release notes.
