## What is TreeO2?

TreeO2 is a unique digital community forestry management platform to manage smallholder tree and carbon farming. Using a smartphone, RFID technology and cloud data storage it is a complete forest inventory management tool for smallholder farmers. It introduces a new level of accountability, transparency and efficiency into smallholder tree and carbon farming. 

Our platform uses RFID nails to geo tag every tree we plant. Our app allows us to track, measure and monitor our impact, pay our farmers and calculate carbon drawdown.

This app is intended only for farmers or inspectors already registered with an existing TreeO2 project.


## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2024-04-08

We've made a couple of minor changes to the flow when scanning a tree:

- Measurements are now circumference (at breast height), rather than diameter.
- Providing a height measurement is now optional.

We've also updated lots of the Tetun translated phrases.

### 1.1.9 — 2024-03-08

We've fixed some issues related to decimal points in certain locales.

### 1.1.8 — 2023-08-25

We've fixed some issues where the numbers of un-uploaded scans and previous batches weren't quite right.

### 1.1.7 — 2023-06-15

We've added a feature help inspectors in selected projects handle situations when the physical tag on the tree has been lost.

### 1.1.5 — 2022-06-07

Just a couple of minor changes in this release:

- Tree heights can now be entered with decimal places.
- Failed uploads can be retried from the app.
