This app helped us stay on the trail numerous times when the trail markings were unclear. The app is easy to use and filled with great details about each trail section, available services, and historical highlights. It was wonderful - beautiful scenery, friendly people, and no worries about navigating the path because of the app. If we missed a turn (and we often would), the app quickly got us back on the path. The countryside was so beautiful and bucolic with the sheep and lambs in the pastures and green views everywhere we looked. We scheduled the trip through Mac Adventures but used Trekright Cotswold app to make our way. It was a fantastic app and stopped us from going the wrong direction a number of times. The app can be downloaded to work off line and provided live view of our progress. It has a great many features. My major concerns in particular were ensuring I was in fact walking in the right direction, sounds silly, but when you have interlocking paths or a farmyard to cross or if like in my case the weather is so bad you cannot spot the markers, this app does the worrying for you. It literally tracks you on the trail and when your done for the day it leads you to your accommodation.
