## What is Tremor Analysis?

**DISCLAIMER**
Tremor Analysis does NOT provide medical advice. All medical decisions should be made by a doctor. Consult with your doctor or healthcare provider before making any medical decisions. This app is solely meant to assist with quantifying the frequency of a hand tremor. Please confirm all results with your doctor or healthcare provider using certified equipment.
** **

Tremor Analysis uses accelerometer data to calculate the frequency of a hand tremor.

Simply press the start button to start collecting accelerometer data. Once enough data points have been collected, Tremor Analysis automatically performs a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) which outputs the component frequencies and magnitudes.

After performing the FFT, Tremor Analysis displays a chart of magnitudes vs frequencies from 1hz to 20hz. Hold or drag along the chart for more information about the frequency and magnitude on the chart.

Customize the app by choosing the number of data points you would like to collect, which axis to collect accelerometer data from, and whether you would like to see rounded or precise data.

Use an Apple Watch to record data from an alternative source. Analyze the results on your Apple Watch or send the results to your main device to be analyzed later. You can also sync the settings between both devices for easy configuration.

## Key features

- Accelerometer data collection
- Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis
- Frequency and magnitude charting
- Customizable data points and axes
- Apple Watch integration
- Data syncing between devices

### 5/5 — Tremor Analysis app is wonderful!

*2024-12-12, version 2.04*

I’ve been using the Tremor Analysis app for about one year to measure my Essential & Parkinson’s tremors and appreciate the ease of use in conjunction with my Apple Watch. I’m able to quickly take and store measurements throughout the day and compare against my medications and diet. The only thing that I would like to understand better is the magnitude readings and some sort of scale with regards to what is “normal” for the average person and where the value crosses over to problematic. This is my go to application for my tremor problem and appreciate Christopher’s development of this app.
Thank You

### 5/5 — Add annotations, please

*2024-01-07, version 2.04*

Nice app. Works fine. I would like to annotate data points so I know what aggravates or mediates the tremors.

### 3/5 — Not working

*2023-09-11*

Using iPhone 12 direct os 16.6.1. Nothing on the chart. Time counter working. Please check.

Even though I see tremor with my naked eyes it’s recording nothing. Had to purposedly shake it then I see the chart.

Anyway to include sensitivity adjustment?

### 5/5 — Excellent app!

*2023-08-16, version 2.04*

Just started using it to monitor my kinetic tremor. Easy, intuitive on iPhone and Apple Watch.
